Sandymount Hotel, Dublin

LIKED: The hotel staff was fantastic! So helpful and so friendly! The room I was assigned to was huge with 3 beds for me to choose from (I sort of felt like I was in the fairytale of Goldilocks and the 3 bears). The beds were super comfortable! The bar was filled with jolly people and the waiter took his time explaining the local food traditions! Has a wonderfully (though very small) maintained garden to soak in the sun or enjoy your meal at the picnic tables. DISLIKED: Waterkettle in room was extremely dirty and the rosters in the bathroom could have used thorough cleaning, towels were hard (not enough fabric softener?)and I would have appreciated having CNN on the telly. The food was edible enough, it was rather pricey for the amount served up.
