I'll be back
By ,
This is my favourite hotel in London. The location is great, the staff really polite and helpful and our room was magnificent (we stayed in the Royal Wing). Breakfast was also, without doubt, one of the best I've enjoyed in any hotel. This is definately a place to come back to, and on my next vist to London you can be sure that I'll be back!

Ask for Dave!!!
By ,
Dave the concierge was fantastic! He always guided us to great restaurants. He also was able to get theater tickets when none were available. The fast, proffesonial and yet personable service from Dave and the staff made our stay at the Rubens wonderfully memorable. The hotel room was a little small, but hey you don't get the royal suite when you book an economy package trip. However, the bathroom was large. The room, bathroom and the common rooms were always clean. The resturants in the hotel were all good and everything was cooked to order. There was a large breakfast buffet selection with a choice of hot and cold dishes. The Rubens' location was a good central location to historial London (it's across the street from the Royal Mews and the Buckingham Palace). Also the tube, buses and trains were all very close to the hotel. I noticed that several places in London did not seem to have handicap facilities, so I would email any hotel or resturant about particuar needs. That aside I well go back to the Rubens at the Palace the next time we go to London.

Would like to have a bigger room for the money
By ,
The location is optimal. The rooms were small compared to the cost. Great service. The hotel staff was very pleasant.
