Do not stay here unless you want things stolen

We were on a tour of Europe at the beginning of a Spotlight tour in which the group stayed at the hotel Pullman Rive Gauche in Paris.
Unknown to me I became 3rd Tour Director to be robbed in this chain of hotel. 2 Tour Directors from Globus went through the same experience as well as 1 of their passengers.
There is a gang of which the room governess is part of that inspect the belongings of the room and opens the safe. The reason I know it is that my pin numbers for 2 new CC were in the safe and large amounts were withdrawn when the governess found my purse.
I went to the coach with a TT bag to do the luggage. As there were 2
coaches leaving at the same time it was a little hurried and I forgot
my handbag in the room.
I departed exactly at 07.30, at 07.34 I phoned the hotel which put me in contact with the governess. She told me to phone 10 mnts later then stated the handbag was not found.
She took €10.000 between 07.40 and 07.50 as the central bank proved, from the nearest ATM machine, all proved by the CCs central bank.
Also taken were: Mobile phone, cash, sun glasses, passport and clothing,
The general manager refused to answer for 4 days, from Friday till
Tuesday. We were only able to speak to the assistant manager who
claimed he was unable to contact his superior.
I would advise ALL Tour Directors to be extra careful in this hotel and advise passengers to also take care.
