Problems at Le Bristol

Upon arriving, we were taken to our room and upon entering, noticed the carpet was quite dirty. In fact, on the way to the room, the carpets in the hallways were coming apart at the seams. Looking around the hotel, most of the furnishings looked to be dirty or worn.
The service at the hotel is not very responsive , and there seems to be a lack of management or attention to details.
In the dining room at breakfast, we were seated next to a table where the diners had a small dog that smelled of wet damp dog hair.
We only stayed two nights of a 5 night stay and transferred to the George V. Upon checkout, our bill had an overcharge for breakfast, which we corrected.
I would not recommend this hotel to friends as it was definitely, not what we expected for the price.
