Very nice hotel
They are listed in the Best Small Hotels in the World for good reason. We stayed here as a base for touring Normandy. Wonderful service, very friendly front desk, an incredible indoor pool, nice spa, very pretty grounds. Everyone spoke English which made it very easy for us. The front desk made a point of learning our names, a nice touch. The restaurant is very expensive, very French, and the waiters are a little stuffy - a little difficult to navigate unless you're into that kind of thing. Most people we talked to said it's the best restaurant in town, & the service was excellent but it was just not to our liking. The rooms in the main house are nicer than the ones in the wing, but all are spotless, quiet and very comfortable. Being outside town means it's very quiet, but a little out of the way. The hotel is a 15 minute downhill walk from town center (that means uphill on the way back!). Although there is a view from the hotel, I cant say it's a highlight - in fact you're perched over a trailer park, but you can see the Pont de Normandie in the distance. Overall a very nice, very pretty, secluded hotel. We would stay again, but I wouldn't make a trip just to stay there.
