San Agustin Hotel Colonial, Lima

I loved the Decor and furnishings. It added atmosphere for me thich is why I bother to travel to a differnt country. The staff are friendly, the establishment is clean and tidey, the rooms are great, the location is handy, it also has internet in its business area for guests to use-very handy because I need to keep in tough with home also.

I stayed at Hotel Colonial Inn at the start and end of my trip to Peru. The rooms were spacious and clean and the restaurant has a good menu. Location wise, it is set on one of the main streets of Miraflores. Lots of shopping, restaurants, and services within walking distance. Try to request a room facing the side street or the back of the establishment, as they tend to be quieter than those facing the main "Avenida".

We, as 3 young women travelling on our own through Peru, found the staff in The Colonial Inn to be welcoming, warm, friendly and charming.. We stayed 3 nights before moving on and while we were not too pleased with Lima (it felt a little unsafe) we loved the hotel!! The food was great and we enjoyed getting to know those who worked there.. The bar was a comfortable area to mix with other travellers and to drink the excellent Pisco Sours made by the bar staff. Our rooms were cleaned daily and we were very happy with the endless supply of hot water for showers. Those who worked there, took great care of us and we felt as though we had made friends by the time we left. We cannot recommend this hotel highly enough for its service and welcome.
