Beautiful view. Super-clean!
- Service: good but simple. People are not well trained but will do their best to help you. REALLY CLEAN! They change your linen and towels everyday and vaccum clean the carpet (Radisson -- just around the corner -- doesn't!). The carpet has some old stains but it is clean.
- The hotel was a hospital 100 years ago. It needs some redecoration but it's still in good shape.
- Room: I spent 2 weeks there (working, unfortunately!) and my room had just one double bed, a desk, a TV set over a small chest of drawers, one side-table and a place to put your luggage. Plus, of course, a closet. NO FRIGOBAR.
- Restaurant: it is considered to have a very good food. I had to have my diner there every night, so I sort of got tired of it. I recommend the Lemon Chicken dish (it has a bigger name, I can't remember). They prepare it with a jelly-like sauce, really good.
- Location: It faces the Caribbean and, from my Window, I could "only" see the "Marine Parade", the vast blue sea and a Marina. It's a peaceful view. I could go walking to downtown and to MIRAB -- a magazin where you can buy all pharmacy items plus other stuff. No groceries though.
- Internet connection NOT AVAIBLE, but I bought a Kyocera Passport card from a local mobile company. It works really well!
- No swimming pool, no nothing. Just the Hotel and the REstaurant.
- BEWARE: There's no beach. Instead of sand, there's a fender made of rocks (some look like marble...). Maybe to protect against hurricanes.
