Description

Although this hotel is relatively far from major attractions and commercial districts, for a moderate fee, travelers will be able to reach them by taxi. All rooms offer the standard amenities expected in a five-star hotel, including a private balcony, sound system and mini-fridge. There are convention facilities that can accommodate a maximum of 2,500 persons or breakdown into six rooms. Catering for all business functions is available with prior notification. There are three restaurants, offering international cuisine. In May, the hotel hosts the annual Caribbean Tourism Exchange .

Too Must...

My 9 year old son and I stay at this hotel because we are within walking distance to two homes of our friends who live close by. We usually take the Deluxe rooms but sadly each time, something in the room does not work and of course, always the air conditioning is musty. Perhaps a humidity issue. In addition, while the hotel is undergoing renovations and hammering is a constant sound beginning at 7 am, I truly feel the rates should have been slashed by 50%.

went there on cosmetic surgery package

my room key never worked, so after having cosmetic surgery, I was forced to go to the lobby and ask for a new room key at least 8 times. I was bandaged and swollen from a face lift and my head was the size of a pumpkin. I must have scared other guests and certainly did not want anything but privacy, sadly it was not to be. Also, the wireless would not connect and I was forced to pay for internet. They told me to tell my friends to u se their TOLL FREE 800 #. WE were all socked with OUTRAGEOUS phone fees as their toll free number IS NOT toll free.

Staff were very mechanical and without personality very unlike the rest of Dominican Republic. The Bell men were excellent and represented the hospitality of the Dominican Republic.

Can you say \"disappointed\"

booked a 4 night stay with this hotel thinking that I would be gambling and having a good time in there bar with an all-inclusive package...well boy was I wrong! First of all found out that the casino had been closed for over 2 months the karoake bar is never open...so nothing to do entertainment wise. Plus, you have to pay by the minute to use the internet which is SLOWER then dail up. Only thing positive would be that the staff is very friendly and the rooms are fairly nice...word to the wise if you are thinking that all-inclusive means free drinks...think again with this resort! I would keep looking for a different property to stay at...would not return back to this one!
