The Anchorage Condominiums, George Town

My family stayed at the Anchorage in June of 2007 and we really loved it there. Its a couple miles away from all the traffic and noise with an amazing white sand beach. I shopped all over the internet and no condo had better rates, then I got a discount for booking it at the Cayman Activity Guide site. It was one of the best vacations we ever had. Highly recommended!

My family and I have been here twice in 6 years. The second time we splurged on an ocean-facing 3-bedroom unit (2 bedrooms with a den). The view of the beach and ocean is breathtaking!!!! The beach is quiet and peaceful. The sand is very nice. The water is warm and gentle. You can snorkle easily from the shore in shallow water. There are beach "palapas" to sit in the shade and plenty of chairs and chaises. The units themselves are immaculate and well-stocked, including flat screen TVs and DVD players. The place was entirely renovated after the hurricane in 2004 (it re-opened in 2006). Staying at the Anchorage is relaxing, friendly, and peaceful. I would go there again in a heartbeat. You couldn't ask for better! The pool is very basic but clean and you can walk right from the pool to the ocean and back -- who could ask for better?!

Stayed at the Anchorage 11/2006 and absolutely loved it. Condo was beautifully appointed, well stocked and immaculate. Staff was very friendly. We wanted a quiet relaxing romantic vacation and that it just what we got. We are currently planning our return trip to the Anchorage.

I loved it!!! Everything from our maid service to the office staff that works there. The fact that the gardener will cut coconuts for you. The beach and location were great I would come back anytime! Thanks for the great time !!
