Westwind II Club, Cable

Westwind ll is great value for the money, not a stuffy high end resort. You can visit this resort for your holiday and see the same great people year after year. If you are traveling on a budget, sitting by the pool and visiting the beach don't cost a thing. You don't have to eat out at restaurants every meal, every unit has a kitchen and bbq. Invite your friends over for burgers and drinks, that's what this place is all about! Order your groceries online and save yourself a long walk in the heat, or a $20 cab ride...each way! FoodStore2Go has a great selection and they do everything they can to make your order perfect. If you want to go downtown, the Jitney stops right in front of the resort and cost is under $2 to get all the way in to town (and see the island on the way). Once you're downtown, you can take a ferry across to Atlantis and walk around for free, some areas are for guests only, but there is still lots to see.

We have owned here since 1984, we were one of the first owners in this lovely place, it has always been the best vacation for us, weather we come alone or bring friends down, we always have the best time, the people and the staff are the very best, granted we are not really super luxurious, we are located on the beach and who needs all the sand in the condo, thats not what WestwindII is all about, its about relaxing with friends and enjoying the beach, or just reading a book out by the pools. We love this place and will never stop going. Donita in the office is the Manager, the staff here is the very best, I can;t say enough about this place, just go and experience it for yourself.

The people, environment, area, everything is just so wonderful! Hands down, best place to stay on vacation in the Bahamas! LOVE it!

Not the most luxurious place, but if you are looking for a friendly, relaxing place, Westwind II can't be beat. Being at "end" of Cable Beach is the best. You get all the privacy of a private beach and use of the best beach in the Bahamas if you want more. Staff is great, regular residents welcome new visitors like they were family. Just a great get-a-way if you are not looking for luxury. Could use some updating, but nice and clean.

This New Year's Eve will be our third year in a row to vist WestWind II. It is the most pleasant vacation home we have ever found. The location, the staff, and the other tenants are just the greatest. We look forward to it all year and we can't wait to go back!

I would like to stay there when, I come back to nassau, it"s so beautiful and, also have a nice ocean veiw. I would alway love to stay at westwind club.

It is well maintained.The location is beautiful,right on the water.The staff will go above and beyond to be helpful.There is always plenty to do,very convienent location.You do not need to rent a car.You can walk to most restaurants and the casino or take the bus during the day for $1.00 or a taxi at night.There are water sports next door at the hotel.The property has 2 nice pools and a tennis court.It has a bar and grill for lunch.

I loved going to the Bahamas!! There was a lot to do that was fun!!! But not only did the beach and shopping make my trip fun but the place I stayed West Wind 2! The staff were great, very nice, and were very helpful! There wasn't a time that I wasn't having fun! I stayed down there for a week but it all went so fast it only felt like I stayed there for 2 days! I wish I could go back this summer but I can't I have to much going on. But I can't wait until next year in June when I get to go again!!! I know it will be even more fun next year! I can't wait to get back and see all of the friends I made down there again like all the staff you guys were graet!! -Tressa Maybee

I have been going to Westwind 2 for 17 years. My family have been going for about 25 and we love it! The people are so incredibly nice and you always feel like your at home. Its always really clean and really neat. You never see any garbage around or anything like that. It is also very close to a casino and small shopping and only about a 5 - 10 min bus ride to downtown and about 20 - 25 min from the airport.

My husband and I have been owners at Westwind II since 1984 and we still look forward each year to returning. Each year gets better. I agree with everything others have commented on about the staff. It is like a family reunion with the many friends we have made through the years who return every September. Keep up the great job!
