Twin Dolphin Hotel, Cabo San Lucas

One can't help but feel almost vitriolic toward the developers who razed this institution of a Hotel. Those who experienced it - and who know class and quality in a hotel - are unanimous in their esteem for the Twin Dolphin. The coolness of the tiles on your bedroom floor; the warmth of the pool. The sunsets and the sand. The architecture, and the simple understated class of it all. Truly a great loss....except to the owners of the 725 residential units being built on the site. That select few probably drove their Escalades down to Chilis or Applebees to indulge in some tasty 3000 calorie entrees in celebration of their new timeshare ventures....who knows, maybe there will be a Starbucks on site for them to flock to in solidarity. Maybe two. For those of us who don't buy into that scene, the Twin Dolphin remains impossible to replace: the staff, the food, the ambience, the serenity, the atmosphere, the peace; this was a true dream of a Hotel.

had been going there for 30 yrs. Was the best place on earth. From the moment you arrived you were at peace. Relaxation taken to a new level. Everything was perfect and the staff was the best!!! They became family. Miss it terribly,but fortunately have the memories and photos thag that will have to last a lifetime. Never will there be anything close to what this hotel had to offer!!!!!

I was looking to go back and relax just one more time. Now I read that it is long gone? Best time I ever spent and the privacy was beyond words. Service like no other it was good to go and at times have the pool to ones self. I will miss evening meal and the way they would draw the glass doors. It offered what the other hotel couldn't. They will not be able to replace the peace and quiet privacy that it offered. Breaks my heart!

The Twin Dolfins, which was my jet set sister's favorite Cabo resort, has been buldozed for a new development.

We stayed at the hotel for a wedding. It was the most beautifully apointed wedding we ever attended. The hotel and the settings are are about the best you will ever encounter, no matter where you have stayed or traveld before. You will especially love the food and the outdoor dinning.

I just simply love the isolation and privacy one has. I long for the service and kind attention one is given. I just can not wait to get back.

Twin Dolphin is in a superb location right on the Gulf of Cortez, with two adjacent beaches. You won't find rooms anywhere else this close to the water. Our room was right on the water (maybe 15 yards from the surf). You could hear the waves at night. It is a quiet hotel. Service is excellent. Food is very good. I much preferred it to a larger resort. Would stay there again without hesitation.

This was my first time staying at the Twin Dolphin. We had an incredible time. The views, the serenity, the calm was much needed .. and I was quite impressed with the overall service. The staff made sure that everything was impeccable and pleasing. Also Manager Tyrone Phillips assured an awesome stay and it was truly that. He definitely doing tremendous job there at Twin Dolphin. This place is all about isolation and serenity. It isn't your typical all out party hotel where you feel like you have to do something. At the Twin Dolphin you do nothing and it is wonderful. Whether you are hanging out by the endless pool, soaking up rays near Santa Maria Bay, Cabo's best snorkel spot, or just lounging on the southern beach, which you have all to yourself, the experience here is like no other. So if your not in the mood for a cabo wabo experience and just want to chill this is the place for you and your significant other.
