Dreams Cancun Resort and Spa All-Inclusive, Cancun

the work out room was not modern but everything else was unblieveable, the service was great but the room got stuffy when ever the air was turned off

The location is the best!! There are so many places to explore. Went with my husband and two sons. Have been there twice and if I go to mexico again, it would be hard to try somewhere else because it may not compare!

The pool was to small, everything else was fantastic.The service was great and activities were also very good. The beaches and the landscaping were also maintained very well.

I CAN'T SAY ENOUGH ABOUT THIS RESORT, THE FOOD, THE SERVICE, LOCATION EVERYTHING, STARTING WITH THE WELCOME CHAMPAGNE WAS OUTSTANDING AND I WILL SURELY GO BACK!!!!

I loved this hotel because it was right on the beach and the rooms were really nice. They even have a lagoon that is hooked to the ocean so fish and other aquatic life are there all the time. I even saw a sea turtle. We saw so many starfish it was amamzing. This hotel is a great place to stay!!!!!

Loved the view. Loved the water. Very much loved the restaurant. We are considering your hotel in the future. We were told your hotel was a resort one had to buy. Not timeshares, but like a condo room. You did change you name from the Comeal Real. My name is Velma Masi. My husband's name is Frank Masi. You probably have our names in your old records. We were there in 1999 or 2000.

In no way shape or form is Dreams Cancun a four star hotel. The hotel looks nothing like the pictures you will see on line.

Excellent hotel. Beautifully rooms, great service. Hotel has four restaurants so all inclusive food doesn't get boring. And the sand on the two beaches hotel has is so soft. That vacation was like a dream.

This was our first all-inclusive and was part of a company function (so we didn't select it). We took the kids, 4 and 7, mainly because of the fantastic reviews of the kid's club onsite. It lived-up to the positive reviews we had seen prior to making our decision as to whether or not to bring them along. The hotel attracts a mixed crowd. Not many families with kids (maybe it was because we were there in early May). Quite a few rowdy types congregated at the pool bars each day. Food was ok. Nobody got sick. Oceana was our favorite. Kids liked the buffet selection for breakfast. Rooms were nice, decent-sized and clean. Dreams was very accommodating and even agreed to bring up two roll-away beds. Great location if you want to be in the heart of Cancun (although we didn't feel the need to venture out). Overall, a nice experience. We would definitely recommend Dreams Cancun if you're bringing young children.

I first stayed at this hotel more than 20 years ago (when it was Camino Real & not all-inclusive). I returned to "Dreams" in June 2005 and back again 02-05 May 2007 with my fiance (he had never been). I have NEVER experienced a friendlier, more welcoming or more accommodating staff in any hotel, anywhere, period. Again, the staff are all FABULOUS & really make you feel at home. The property is kept very clean -- landscape, pool, beach, rooms, common areas, restaurants, etc. Arrival: My fiance commented that if you were blindfolded from the airport, you would NEVER guess that a very busy part of Cancun exists right outside the Dreams property. Its location makes it feel very secluded. Room: We stayed on the second floor of the pyramid building, just overlooking the new dolphin enclosure. The room was cold A/C & very clean, and WOW! is all I can say about the dolphins. Whenever we woke in the night we could step onto the balcony and watch them circle and swim. A little splash now & then, but no chatter that we heard. These are beautiful animals -- very relaxing & mesmerizing. Nightlife/Activities: Not the typical party scene; that's down the block about a 10 minute walk. There's still plenty to do at the resort. There is a live show most every night: mexican fiesta, rock & roll, myan show, caribbean show. Movies for the kids on a big screen by the pool. We only caught one show, but it was very good & watched it from our balcony. The bars were lively but not extremely loud, so there was good entertainment there as well. Also, ask for the "drink of the day" -- changes every day and REALLY good! And Miguel makes an excellent "cabana" at the pool swim-up bar. We don't have kids so N/A on Explorers Club; however, stretching class, spanish lesson, salsa dance, beach volleyball, water aerobics, etc are planned throughout every day -- check @ the desk. Food: We stayed 3 nights & my fiance (who is not a huge sushi- or fish-eater) asked for Himitsu (japanese) all 3 nights -- spring rolls & "Dreams rolls". He also loved the mahi mahi vera cruz @ Oceana for lunch. (Try the Oceana mixed ceviche appetizer -- out of this world!) Also lunch at SeaSide Grill -- very good . World Cafe buffet for breakfast All in all, my fiance could be described as someone who enjoys eating -- & he was NOT disappointed. Room service is 24/7; even Coronas & club sandwich @ 3 a.m. Pool/Beach: Pool is small, chairs are limited. I prefer a swim in the ocean -- it is fairly shallow & at times is warmer than the pool. Breezy beach on the tower side; sheltered somewhat on the main beach with a floating trampoline & inflated rock-climbing wall. Always plenty of clean towels & bar service right on the beach. PROPERTY: AMAZING!! There just isn't a bad view from this hotel. Even the most ameteur photographer will take the most fabulous photos. Humidity fogging camera lenses is the only possible problem. Sugar sand, beautiful beaches, gorgeous sunsets, & beautifully maintained landscaping. We're planning to be married at this resort, so really have checked out almost everything with an eye toward all age groups.
