it is charming to look at, this is a genuine mid level Mexican family-owned for over 40yrs hotel. . .owners have become like our family, each time we get there 'we are home in Mexico', some spa services can be obtained in-house, but it is only 3 blocks from the georgous public Spa where we go daily for our treatments. it is quiet, not 'plush' by American standards but we like it. some people who have come w/us did not go back because it was not fancy/plush enough. . 3 meals a day are included and they are very decent. the owners speak English, most of the staff do not, but it is really not a problem.
