Hampton Inn At the Falls, Niagara Falls

Perfect location with all attractions within short walking distance. Staff was very helpful with directions. Lobby, pool and breakfast area are all open under dome ceiling- which produced slight smell of clorine. Overall excellent experience.

The room was spacious and well furnished. The coffee service around the clock was a great facility. The staff was helpful and gracious. The breakfast was good and better than several we have had during our US visit. What stood out was the variety and the balance in choice for all age and health levels. Area of improvement: could have a round the clock fast food counter inhouse at a price. Often after a day's trip sightseeing one needs a snack and to go out to fetch one is not a good feeling. This is a great hotel if you are going to Niagara Falls with a bunch of friends to eather gamble or party . I made the mistake on bring my family to this hotel first off made rev on-line and was NOT told that if you paid for the room up front with cash that you have to put a $50.00 deposit down but you did get back when you checked out. Was asked if I had any special requests when done on-line well I wanted the higest floor possible and wanted extra pillows & coffe in my room when I checked in and you think any one at the service desk had a clue NO thay didn't well I got my room on the 5th floor after telling the service clerk at the desk but you think thay gave me my ex coffe and pillows NO it went in one ear and out the other . This hotel is old it needs revamping bad carpet in hallways windows in the main part of there courtyard need tobe cleaned bad you can see all the dead bugs or mold on them from the floor breakfest area need tobe spread out a little better its bad when you sit so close that you hear there whole conversation . Rooms were nice but not child safty open plugs not covered sharp corners on dresser,night stand,desk ect . I complain about this when you have brought 2 kids one six which is okay but my other is 14 months and every on know thay get in to everything . Breakfest food was not to brag about but was okay. Pool water was very cold . Had to ask some one to get some towles which were not stocked. No secerity camras where you park your cars at or gards vary unsafe. I drive from the Cleveland Ohio about 230 miles one way about 4 times a year to Niagara Falls to visit for a little getaway I guess I exspected much more out of this trip but I for sure will go back to my hotel I usaly stay at and pay a little more next time unless the Hampton does due something for me and my unhappy experance I had at this location . the hotel was great, it was in a perfect place, just a short walk to everything. and i had the best nights sleep. it was the most comfortable bed i've ever slept in. and the people were friendly. i am looking foward to going back.

Anyone that does complain about this hotel either just experienced bad luck or views themself as royalty and want a brand new 5 star hotel. The location is 5 minutes from the famed Clifton Hill tourist area. and for less then $300 during the Christmas holidays, we received 2 night stay in a jacuzzi suite (the room was very large with a balcony looking onto the atrium/lobby) a bottle of wine, cheese, free parking, free hot breakfast (would have been a decent meal even if it was $5-8) and a $50 voucher for a 5star meal at either the restaurants at Brock Plaza or Sheraton Fallsview, both of which are gorgeous restaurants. Although I have read some complaints from this hotel on travel sites, I can't imagine why, it was such great value, i've stayed in probably 20 hotels in Niagara, and really who goes to Niagara to sit in the hotel room the entire time, you shouldn't be disappointed with a room here.

If you have difficulty navigating stairs, or heavy doors, DON'T go here! There were a bunch of parrots in the pool area where we ate and you could see the feathers in the air. Gross and unsanitary. It was $109 a night and we were booked for four nights, we left after two and went to a Marriott Courtyard in Buffalo.

The hotel was in a pretty good location. About a 15 minute walk to the falls. The hotel did have a free breakfast of yogurt, ceral, eggs, toast, bagels, muffins, fruit, juice and coffee. The lobby smelled like clorine from the pool. Very SMALL pool but hardly any one used it. Not many tv channels to choose from. Nice room and clean room. Nice employees. I give the hotel a 8 out of 10 starts. I thought the falls was kind of a boring place to go. I was ready to come home about 5 hours after we got there. The maid of mist was fun but other then that not much to do. The buffett dinner at the fallsview casino was GREAT. I would not take kids to the falls as it is boring. I give Las Vegas a 10 and I would give the falls about a 2 or maybe a 3. Look into other places to visit before you go here.

We had booked another hotel that proved unsatisfactory. We were able to get a room on the spot. The staff was very easy to work with. They always answered questions and made sure we had the answers we needed. They gave directions to other attractions when we needed them. The room was well appointed. Maid service was top notch. The breakfast buffet and service staff were more than we expected. Overall the experience was wonderful. We will recommend this hotel to anyone coming to the area.
