Description

Old Stone Inn started life in 1904 as a flour mill. The English-style stone structure, located just a block from the Falls, was restored and turned in to a hotel and restaurant in 1977. The inn features tastefully decorated rooms, some with fireplaces and/or Jacuzzi tubs. The inn's dining room, which has stone walls and a cathedral ceiling, features classic and regional cuisine. The extensive menu includes prime rib, chateaubriand, and salmon, as well as house desserts, like crème caramel and tiramisu. Getaway packages are available. Visit website for reservation.

What a find

The staff from the front desk to the servers in the dining room were top rate, friendly, charming and helpful. The food was great, a bit pricey, but worth every penny !! Had a table side Caesar Salad (you don't see that very often) and our Prime rib and roast lamb was delicious (good potions also). We finished off with Cherries Jubilee (table side again !)The waiter we had was great !!!

niagra's best kept secret

We accidently stumbled on this place when our faverite hotel was booked solid. When we walked in the door we felt quite at home in the cozy ambiance. The service was great our room could not have been cleaner, the staff -friendly and the food wonderful. We have returned at least five times (sometimes twice a year) and have never been disapointed. The value is great. We always choose to come during the time that the value package is offered. Hope to return soon.

Gone downhill

I was at the Old Stone Inn a couple of months ago and thought it was great. This time around the staff was not the happy bunch I enjoy on my previous trip. The food was nothing like what I had enjoyed previously. I would not recommend this hotel. Very disappointed.

We had a wonderful time!

We had a wonderful time. The staff was exceptionally kind and interested in making our stay memorable. You are located close to everything, just a short walk to all attractions. The food was outstanding, and the rooms were beautiful. The beds were very cozy and extremly comfortable. The manager, Edith is an asset to the Inn. She welcomed us and made our stay special!! We are thrilled that we found a place that was small enough to care about us and make our stay spectacular. Thank You!!

Chaming relaxing Inn

I just can't say enough about this cozy and chaming little Inn. Rooms were spotless, staff were courteous and very helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for great value. It compares with most 5 star hotels. I do alot of traveling and when friends recommended this hotel I was a little hesitant because I am used to four star hotels. I am glad I gave it a try and I will surely be back. Frank

wonderful accommodations

It was a very charming Inn! We had a extremely clean and beautiful room. The food was pricey but wonderful. The service was great. They went beyond to make our stay comfortable.We recieved free breakfast both mornings we stayed and it was NOT stale donuts and coffee, it was a full breakfast! AND it was walking distance to EVERYWHERE!!! We can't wait to go back!

know what room you will be getting before committing!

The room pictured on the website was not the room we got. Instead of a cozy inn with comfortable accomodations, we got Motel 6! Then, when we tried to get it fixed, we got no consideration. Would not stay there again, we checked out after the first night of a two night stay.

Not worth it!

This has to be the worst inn ever. Its nothing like the images they have on their website. Not worth the money or the time. I stayed one night and canceled the other and swore never to stay here again. I mean nothing worked in the room, poor décor and dirty. Do yourself a favor and stay at the Hilton.

Ready to go back soon!!!

Perfect little place to stay and the food was out of this world. I've stayed there 3 times now and would recommend it to anyone who goes to Niagara Falls. The service and atmosphere was beyound my expectations everytime we go. I plan on going again in September for the start of our Christmas Shopping.
