Need to talk to a manager.
I am a Continental Express Flight Attendant. We were at the hotel on 2/22/2009 and left around lunchtime on the 23rd. Before I left I called down to the restaurant and ordered the Chef Salad from the light menu. I informed them that I would be down to pick it up as I left for work at the airport. I also told them that I was a Flight Attendant with Continental and they assured me that they would put the discount on the price. When I came down the gentleman showed me over to the bar where two of the men were standing that work in the restaurant. He told me that they would get my salad and ring it up for me. They proceeded to ring up my order. I assumed that since the gentleman I had talked to previously had assured me that the discount would be taken off the total, and since I was also standing there in front of the man ringing up the order in my uniform that the discount would be on it. When he handed me the receipt to sign, I paid for it with a credit/bank card to avoid any trouble, it had the total and tax but no discount. I asked him about it and told him the gentleman that I talked to before in the restaurant had assured me that I would receive the discount. He said that's O.K. let me just do this. He took the receipt..... I asked him if that one was going to show up on my bank account..... and he said no..... then he rang up another one with the discount. He had me sign both of them. Both went through on my bank account and I am extremely displeased. If this isn't taken care of by the end of the week, I will get Continental and the hotel committee involved. My account USA dollars was charged $10.83 and $9.73. The $10.83 needs to be taken off and given back to me.
