Do not stay here.
By Dennis, 5/25/10
You can not beat the location, the main lodge is quite nice but starting to show it's age, how ever the rooms are terrible, and not at all acceptable at this price level. Dated and rundown and grubby. Screen doors falling apart, sidewalks crumbling, the list goes on. These rooms are 1-2 stars tops. I've stayed in Motel 6's much better than these rooms. You will leave felling a bit ripped off. Do you self a favor and stay in town somewhere else. The prices of food, drink ect. is off the chart.

Terrible experience
By ruth, 3/9/09
Food unappetizing, service surly, altogether a very unsatisfactory stay. Unfriendly, uncooperative, refusing to provide basic services after hours.

Massively overpriced
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/24/07
Wonderful location in Jasper but tired accomodation, over-worked staff and average food mean that this hotel does not compare with the Banff Springs, Rimrock or Chateau Lake Louise.

horrible
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/16/07
We got a so called Junior suite cabin on one of the lakes. We could not enjoy the view at all because of the parade of people prancing by our window on the path..husband and I just waved at people =p The bathroom probably had not been updated in 30 years just maybe the sink taps had been...there also was mold around the bath tiles. The dead flowers by the entrance of our door was a nice touch. For $600 dollars a night I was outraged especially since we stayed the previous night in Chateau Lake Louise in a suite room overlooking the lake for the same price with beautiful furniture...air jetted whirlpool tub with seperate shower. I will never stay at Jasper Park lodge again. Probably been better off staying at Super 8 than that place!

Scenery, Wildlife and Service!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 1/13/07
Drove up from Vancouver, and arrived about midnight - signage seemed hard to spot, but then again,.... we'd been driving over 10 hours. Hmmmmm. Managed to find the check-in and were grateful to collapse into the comfortable beds. Cabin was beautiful! Cozy and very well appointed. Morning revealed an AWESOME view of Lac Beauvert, and with day-light it became much easier to navigate the grounds. Our cabin was second row from lake, and we did have to park a ways off. (Glad it wasn't raining.) The place has that solid old-world charm feel, and a young, cheerful staff that understand the value of courtesy and a smile. I'd return in a heart-beat and hope to spend 3-5 days next time!

A hidden treasure!
By Amanda, 12/5/06
I have toured all throughout the rockies and was so pleasantly surprised when i stumbled upon the Jasper Park Lodge. What an amazing location!, surrounding Lac Beauvert. I stayed in one of the lakefront suites and what a joy it was to wake up to that view! I was especially impressed with the staff. Eventhough they were mostly young people they were extremely helpful and kind. I would recommend staying at the lodge anytime!
