Travel Inn, Laramie

We pain $69 for our queen bed room. This is what we found at check-in-- The door to the ground floor room was open-it was 35 degrees and snowing, so it was about 35 degrees in our room. It took until bedtime for the room to be warm. Despite the claim that the room was recently remodeled there was the definate strong odor of stale cigarettes. The table was old, dirty and very worn. The two chairs at the table were also dirty and worn. The lamps/clock beside the bed worked only intermitently-not good when you are counting on an alarm! The towels in the bathroom were not clean, the floor in the bathroom was not clean, the ceiling in the shower was falling off and the light switch plate had no cover. Also the bathroom had no heat. When we complained to the office about the condition of the room and the price we were just told to "Have a nice day." We won't be going back and will be sure to tell anyone who asks not to stay there.
