Wow! A nice surprise!
I have to admit I've never stayed in a Super 8 before, but with my AAA rate of only 42 a night, I took the plunge & stayed here.
The staff was absolutely the most friendly & helpful that I've encountered. From suggestions for dining, information about local history, and good conversation, the front desk staff earns an A+!!
The room was small, but clean & roomy enough for me. I had a Queen bed and a small table with 2 chairs in my room, plus the dresser & safe. The furnishings appeared clean and the bedding was crisp and fresh.
The only thing negative I can say about this hotel is that they allow pets, which in itself is not a bad thing. However, I was awakened twice during the night by a dog barking in a room nearby. Also, if you're counting on a breakfast here, think again. They offer little muffins & honey buns along with coffee & juice. I wasn't expecting breakfast, so I was not disappointed.
