Rawhide Motel, Jackson

We picked this hotel from other reviews and after driving 9hrs i was sure what to expect, but the reviews were right....the owner was very friendly and the rooms were clean and we had everything we needed within walking. whatever we needed extra of we were able to get it with a smile....I would recommend this hotel to anyone, I know we will be back the next time we pass thru Jackson...

We stayed at the Rawhide for a week at the end of last summer and will be there for another stay at the end of this week. The location is great, not too close or too far from the action in little, beautiful downtown Jackson Hole. The manager's are very nice and accomodating, remembering us from last year the main manager made sure we got the same room we had because we liked it so much. Didn't choose to have the room cleaned everday day but when we did it was cleaned to satisfaction. Lots of hot water too.

Yes the location is great. Just a couple of blocks from the town square. Only a couple of rooms have refrigerators, but the owners were helpful in getting one for us after someone who had a fridge checked out. I would recommend getting a 2nd floor room. From the 1st floor room, the sounds of people walking above you sounds like they are playing a game of soccer in cowboy boots. Very loud! Most of the other guests seemed like nice people. If you are looking for a clean, basic place to crash after a long day in the Tetons, then this place will do fine.

MY SISTER, FATHER AND I PULLED INTO JACKSON LAST JUNE. EVERYTHING WAS BOOKED. WE HAD TO STAY AT THE 'RAWHIDE' THE FAMILY THAT RUNS IT WAS GREAT AND AVAILABLE. THE LOCATION IS A SHORT WALK TO SHOPPING,BARS AND RESTAURANTS. PARKING WAS RIGHT OUT FRONT OUR DOOR. THE COMFORTABLE FURNISHINGS WERE LOG PINE AND NEWLY RUSTIC. IT SHOWED US WE DON'T ALWAYS HAVE TO SPEND A LOT OF MONEY TO HAVE GREAT ACCOMODATIONS. WE WILL BE STAYING THERE AGAIN, NEXT SUMMER. WE LIVE IN SAN DIEGO AND WANTED A NICE VACATION IN THE MOUNTAINS AND THEY GAVE US ONE. CHECK IT OUT!!
