Ramada Plaza Riverside - Casper, Casper

A friend and I dined there recently. The service was wonderful, but the food was horrific. My friends vegetables were charred/burned and then covered with melted cheese. The waitress took a piece of the medlely back to the kitchen and returned with a similar sized portion, not a new medley. My fettucinni alfredo tasted fine but was made with spaghettii noodles and was terribly dry. The Ramada has a wonderful restaurant with a great ambience, I hope they improve on the quality of food served there..

The light fixture was broken over the bathroom mirror so it was impossible to put on makeup and fix hair, the staff said the part was on order. The heating control unit did not work, the room was very cold and did not ever get warm making sleep difficult. I lost my hotel key and they gave me a new one but did not void the old card. It was found in the lobby and used to enter my room. The rooms were dirty.

Cynthia in charge of the catering service for the banquet room is extremely rude. Good luck trying to have an adult conversation with her!

Never again. My room was truly disgusting. My river view was literally of a dumpster in the parking lot. The $129 price tag was a huge waste. My bed was EXTREMELY uncomfortable and only a double. The halls are dingy and the overall condition of the hotel hasn't been updated since 1975. My bathroom had lots of stains and my windows were all streaky and nasty. If you must stay here, I wish you luck. Get a tetanus shot!!!

We just returned from a 3 day stay at this hotel and found it to be overpriced and not clean. The pool was cold, the hot tub appeared to be "under repair" for a great deal of time. The hallways and our hotel room had stains that looked like a fraternity house. Our blankets were disgusting. If we return to Capser we will be checking out the C'Mon Inn or new CourtYard by Marriot. Our hotel room wasn't ready 1.5 hours after "guaranteed checkin" time. They had free bottled water and rotten apples in the lobby for guests. Not a class act overall. We paid about $200 a night for this experience we wish we could take back.

location,service clean,the restaurant and bar were very clean. the rooms are comfortable. the staff was very good at filling my request to be by the pool and also on the first floor since i have problems with my knees.

I'm sorry to say that your presentation on the Net is not accurate to what we found when we arrived. We were held-off until nearly four o'clock until we could get into our room--seems management was "inspecting" rooms?? The place is old. The general condition can only be described as dirty. House-keeping is very poor. Mens bathroom around the corner from front desk had not been cleaned for the two days we were there. We left feeling like we spent entirely too much money for the accomodations there. It is truly unfortunate that the fine young ladies on the front desk have to shoulder the verbal abuse/confrontations--that a manager should be up there to handle. Overall the room was clean. However, the hallway was dingy, smelled like smoke, and at different occasions there was a trail of bread up the stairs as well as mud. Perhaps I have high expectations. But when one is charged up to $99 per night a certain amount of cleanliness is expected. Multiple stains on the carpet in the hall and the entire hotel reeked of cigarette smoke. The restuarant is under the dome near the pool, so you either are subjected to kids yelling in the pool, smoke, or an under cooked breast of grilled chicken. Overall, I would never stay there again nor recommend it to anyone, even an enemy. Upon check out a guest wanted a refund due to floating feces in the pool that had to be closed for several hours... Premier hotel of Casper, I doubt it...look in to something else if you have a chance!!

We had a perfectly pleasant stay at the Holiday Inn Casper. The location was quite convenient, very close to I-25 and just down the hill from the National Historic Trails Interpretative Center. But the best part of the hotel was its location just next to a walking path that runs along the north side of the North Platte River, up to an overlook a mile or so away. (There was also a children's playground along the way that my 8-year-old son enjoyed.) Our room was fine and I would not hesitate to return.

Put in inside room along banquet facility where very loud music and people were allowed to go on into the night. The shower was broken and could not be adjusted and as a result water went all over bathroom. Pool and spa were closed because of banquet. We wanted a non smoking room but the smoke from the banquet area and service smoke area is just below us and filters up in the door.
