Parkway Plaza, Casper

I just wanted you to be aware that I had visited with my daughter-in-law to be on Sunday. We wanted to see the rooms to decide if they would fit our needs. The woman at the desk was extremely rude and kept saying to come the next day. This was my last day in Casper, and was told "sorry". We had planned on the presidential suite, The bridal suite and 12 other rooms. I will never recommend this hotel to anyone due to the rude treatment. You should hire friendlier and helpful staff.

We were in Casper for a meeting the same weekend as State Track and High School Rodeo and who knows what else was happening there. Had not planned to stay but it got late and we decided we did not want to drive three hours to get home. After checking numerous motels for a room, we found one at the Parkway. Yes the hotel is old and needs some upgrading. Our room was reasonably clean and comfortable. Yes, we were thankful to find a room without having reservations. We have stayed at the Parkway numerous times in our travels over the State of Wyoming. Resident of Baggs Wyoming

Need I say more.....Oh yes, I must. I stayed here and was nasty! I was lying in bed then all of a sudden I was bitten..... by what..... a small red bug bug. I pulled back the sheets to see ....."a lot of little red bugs" I put them in a cup to take to the front desk and they didn't care at all. the front desk "person" said and I quote "what do you want me to do about it" They moved me to a second room which was just as nasty (blood stains in the bed) then to a third room. In the morning I waited for a manager and when they finally arrived they didn't seem to think it was a problem........well I do. DO NOT STAY HERE - IT'S DISGUSTING! Staff Rude

We recently stayed at the Parkway Plaza and not only did we not get what we reserved, but the sofa bed contained the last resident's bedding along with quite a few mouse turds. Housekeeping would not clean it up when asked. No other rooms available in Casper so we had no choice but to sleep 3 in the king sized bed. The rest of the room was filthy as well, but the mouse turds were the highlight. We requested a 50% reduction in price and night clerk said he'd talk to the manager...no reduction was given. The only highlight of this motel is the attached restaurant. Never stay at this motel!

i stayed here one night the staff was rude and the room looked like it hasn't been cleaned need to close this place forever horrible waste of good money will stay at main stay next time

my husband has been staying at this hotel for work. He has had little things come up missing like drinks that was not so bad even though it should not happen but now his computer has come up missing and the hotel says it is not their problem. Other people with his company have had electronics come up missing as well so if you stay at this place beware to leave nothing in the room. Bathrooms are filthy he has had to go buy cleaning stuff to clean himself. The rooms are not stocked. Very disappointed in the fact that they admitted that there been another key used that was not issued to my husband and then stated it was not there problem that stuff was missing.

The staff were evil in its purest form. We were not given the rooms we had arranged. Some of the rooms are really trashy while some are decent (luck of the draw). I normally do not write reviews but I have never been treated so horribly in my life so I guess you could say they inspired me!

Stayed here because attending a conference at this hotel - should have drove to the conference and found a hotel I could relax in. It's old and dirty. My shower sprayed more water out the faucet than the shower head. And that was the most uncomfortable bed I've ever had at a hotel (usually stay at Comfort Inns, etc). This deserves No stars.

My recent stay in Wyoming left me with a bad taste of the entire state all because of my stay at this hotel. I am an avid traveler and have always enjoyed my stay in Casper because of the people I have met there. I am disappointed and shocked at the decrease in professionalism of the management at the Parkway. I have stayed here many times and always like the feel of home I received during my stay. This last visit I feel I have to share so that no one else supports or spends their hard earned money on IGNORANCE. This Friday morning I was checking my email in the business center and I overheard a manager discussing the new "size and weight" policies. I heard a woman discussing they will no longer purchase uniforms over the size 14 for employees. She then continued to say that the new ownership wants to get rid of the obese employees because of appearance and health issues. It seems that the employees are hired and employed based on their weight and appearance. I am a health and fitness instructor that has seen the struggles that the best people in the world have with their health and weight. Not only is it demeaning to hire based on weight but it is immoral as well. I would be happy to employee every one of my clients based on their ability to do their work and their core values. Supporting someone’s efforts to live a healthier life is commendable, but treating someone like they are unworthy or unequal based on their size is disgusting! I am deeply concerned that a business would find this ethical and morally acceptable. I hope that others will think twice before booking with this hotel. In 2009, discrimination of this sort is unacceptable.
