11 reviews for Crown Plaza Milwaukee Airport, Milwaukee
Wow!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/02/09
This place is amazing. Tucked between low-end to middle of the road establishments, the new Crowne Plaza on 13th Street is what the airport area needed. The lobby is trendy, filled with colorful, fabulous furnishings. The rooms are immaculate, stocked with everything a business traveler needs. I've had lunch two times at the new Altitude - and will be back again - food and service was excellent. Everyone in the building was professional and warm.

its all new! ignore bad reviews
By ibrahim, 05/17/09
all the bad reviews about this place was when this place was a former ramada inn and not the crowne plaza which is expected to open soon. this place under went a 14 millon doller renovation, the entire hotel was gutted out to the bare cinder block walls and concreat floors in each room all that was left when i looked in was the cast iron tub in each room and all the drywall in the hallways were removed so you could have looked acroos to the other room. so basicly EVERY THING is new in this hotel as of 5/16/09 all the rooms seem compleat but the lobby and resterant still are being worked on

Not even open yet
By Fast Eddie, 04/16/09
I don't know how you can book anything, It's not even sceduled to open until May 17th, 2009. Once it IS open, it will be a nice place to stay. I'd check with the BBB on that.

HORRIBLE!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/09/07
I stayed there early in 2007. The place was a mess. I had dirty sheets, blankets and I also had a problem with a faucet handle coming off when I tried to turn it on. There was a hole in the wall, banana stickers on the headboard, food and who only knows what else was on the floor of my room. I chose to leave shortly after check in. Not only was the staff rude, they would not issue a refund (We were there less than a half hour). I called the Ramada customer service and was issued a refund after aprox. a month. So i think it goes without saying we will NOT BE RETURNING.

Awful Awful!!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/04/06
I canceled my stay there , I called to try to get a refund the person I spoke to said it was not possible because it was a package deal. I find it very unfair and will not book with your company again.

Chicago, Chinatown Hotel
By Bob, 06/02/06
The hotel had no elivator and we were on the third floor. The air conditioner made so much noise that it became difficult to sleep.

Little things were overlooked
By BonnieN, 05/09/06
Though I understand the need for plastic mattress protectors, there was no liner between very thin sheets and the liner. Sheets were too short or bed was incorrectly made -- the latter is a possibility as the blanket needed to be turned 50 degrees. Faucets (both sink and shower) were badly plumbed -- had to fiddle to adjust and was a vertical hot/cold instead of horizontal. The room was clean. Thecinderblock wall out the window made me glad we checked in after dark and left shortly after dawn!

stay away from this hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/31/05
Do yourself a favor.. DO NOT COME TO THIS HOTEL.. EVERYTHING IS HORRIBLE. I have seen bits of the ceiling falling down in rooms while I have worked at this hotel for another company. The people who work there are rude and snotty. I was afraid to drink out of a glass there. I ended up getting a sinus infection from all of the mold in the hotel and in one of the rooms there was food spilled on the wall. I guess they were too busy to clean it up. Stay at a different hotel the Radisson which is right next door; the staff are so much friendlier and the hotel is CLEAN.

Got what I paid for
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/24/05
I've heard bad things about this hotel, but since my cousin's wedding was there, I decided to try it. I had no problems. The room was fairly appointed and the staff was prompt and courteous. I did find out that it has new owners, so maybe that has something to do with the better service. We'll see, I wouldn't mind staying again.

hotel service
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/02/05
Pillows in room had mold on them. Very upset with shuttle service. Parked car at hotel and went on vaction. When we arrived back in Milwaukee we called the hotel for shuttle service. Driver went home sick early that day so we had to PAY to get back to hotel to get our car. Hotel would not issue a reimbursement voucher to the airport shuttle we had to use to get back to the airport POOR BUSINESS DECISION !!! Will not stay there again because of this.
