Clarion Hotel Green Bay, Green Bay

Stayed for one nite, when I got home discovered they had charged my credit card an extra $25 for no reason. This is not legal as far as I am concerned. Still haven;t gotten it back and won't stay again. I paid for room fully before I went to Green Bay. They asked for my credit card for incidentals. well I didn't have any incidentals and they still charged me $25. What a ripoff.

I used my debit card to pay and they put a hold on my checking account of double the charge for the room. I was going to cancel that checking account and was using a big part of the balance to pay for the room. They DID NOT tell me that a double charge would be held and this caused my account to over draw and I incurred $210 dollars in NSF charges from my bank. If they would have told me that they would charge double I would have paid with my credit card(which I try to avoid). When I called and asked them they didnt care. Its their policy so "too bad" I was told by the manager. It is an older hotel. It took 3 times going back to the front desk to get the key to work in my door. The front desk help was friendly. Parking is extremely limited. I also saw 2 young males exchange money and saw them flash gang signs. Also there were other young males(not staying at the hotel) that were hanging around the property. They were minding there own business but I was leary of them and stayed away as much as I could. I was not comfortable walking to my car. I will never stay there again.

THE MANAGER OF THIS HOTELWAS THE WORST MANAGER EVER TO DEAL WITH.THIS MNAGER AT THE VERY LEAST SHOULD BE BUSED DOWN TO BELL BOY IF NOT FIRED LEARN SOME RESPECT.

I stayed at this hotel and used a debit card, what they wont tell you up front is that not only will they charge you for the room, but also a 150 holding fee that you wont get back unless you contact them and demand your money back. They claim that this is common practice with all hotels, but I have never had a problem before. So for a $107.77 room i was charged a total of $265.77 even on my receipt it said I was only charged the 107.77 this is FRAUD!!!!!!!! Beware if You stay there this will happen to you too!!!! I will never stay there again!!!!!! Thanks, Jess

What a great place to stay right on the river room with a view, friendly helpfull staff great location, awsome resturant! I will deffinatly recomend this place to all my friends!

It was nice. Friendly employees with good service. The food was above average, nice location for all green bay has to offer. Nice spot for singles looking for a good nightlife.

I stayed here, and thought that it was a nice place, except the pool area. I actually saw human waste there.

I liked how housekeeping ask if I wanted service, and the housekeepers were very excellent at their job. Front desk could use some work with some of the people on there "people skills" but i wouldnt mind coming back! Thanks.....
