Stone Lodge, Huntington

Stone Lodge had the following individuals that were exceptional, they were Richard Burns, Neali Spangler, Rhonda Hicks, Danny Martin, Malita Gray, and Cristi Arrowood. These individiduals did a wonderful job while they were employed at Stone Lodge. However, management at the Stone Lodge which included Charles Watkeys and Donna Newell did not treat guests and employees in a professional manner. , They abused their power and authority that was given to them and as an result guests and employees suffered from their actions and behavior. Sad, very sad. However, they will not be able to perform this type of behavior anymore at Stone Lodge. They can no longer mistreat their guests and employees in the way that they did while employed there. Those days are over at Stone Lodge now. I feel sorry for the employees that were subject to their behavior and actions and in the manner they were treated. However, hopefully, these employees can move on and have wonderful luck with their lives and careers and forget about their bad experiences at Stone Lodge and with Charles Watkeys and Donna Newell. Blessings to Mr. Burns,Ms. Spangler,Ms. Hicks,Ms. Gray. Ms. Arrowood, and to Guy and Maria Weatherholt.

i thank it's kind of bad you pick one maid over another donna and let theam work longer it's shitty donna.

If you are traveling for pleasure and/or for business purpose to Huntington,West Virginia and you need to stay at a motel in the area,I would not recommend Stone Lodge (located at 5600 U.S.Route 60 East,Huntington,West Virginia) for anyone,including families with children.This motel has not been properly maintained by the owners and by management.The rooms has been neglected ,in the summer months there is no air conditioning, and in the winter months there is no heating.If you want to stay at a motel in the area,there are plenty of excellent motels for you to choose from,unfortunately,Stone Lodge is not one of them.

My son decided that the best basketball camp was in this area so a relative in the area suggested that we stay there. The staff was amazing. Friendly to the point of feeling like family. The place is a bit older so if you are looking for 'flash' this is not the place for you. The grounds are clean and well maintained and the hotel is 'pet friendly' (our first 3 days there was some pooch convention in town so all the mutts stayed there....after leaving the common area, I heard NOTHING from the barking dogs... The side door did not lock (might have been fixed by now) but EVERYONE was so friendly in that town it is hard to believe that violent crime exists there...I would give this place two thumbs up!!!

We spent 3 nights at the Stone Lodge and everything was just wonderful. Our room was clean and kept up. The motel is an older one but has been well kept and the parking lot and surroundings were clean. The rooms are soundproof as we found out. Our room overlooked the pool and there were young people playing and yelling at 2 AM and we couldn't hear anything. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The Mountaineers have it all. We will return next summer.
