Disgusting.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 4/12/11
I am overcome to write about my experience, because this place was so nasty. To start- arrived, had reserved a king jacuzzi tub room. All elevators broken, have to lug bags up to 5th floor. Get in, use restroom, find that not only is the toilet and sink clogged, there is also bloody bodily fluids on the toilet lid, which had obviously not been cleaned. Told front desk, they cleaned it when we left and unplugged clogs. Get back to room- go outside, empty beer can sitting on our "porch" which is basically the roof top, garbage full of beer cans and other refuse, and bloody tissues laying on porch. Sick. Next morning- breakfast buffet. Get some food, add creamer to coffee and it comes out in a cottage cheese lump. Sick. Then watch as a guest pulls a long hair out of the ham on the buffet line, and hands it to the employee. Sick. Took a look at the pool, murky water with a film. Do yourself a favor, stay at the Grand Hyatt a few blocks away, same price, nice big tub in a king room (enough room for two) and LUXURY accommodation. I will be happy if I do not break out in scabies, get head lice or some un-earned STD just from staying one night at this place.

Parking and wireless internet are lacking
By Clownbucks, 8/14/09
This hotel is in a great location. As another reviewer has mentioned parking is lacking (chances are that all spots are full if you arrive late). Rooms are very small and cramped. Also, I found the wireless internet service lacking (signal was nonexistent in our room at the end of the floor). Tried to move but staff would or could not give me another room with better wireless, so i think this hotel is not suitable for business travelers that need wireless internet. On the positive side Breakfast is generous and there is a decent pool and a small gym for those that are so inclined.

No dislikes at all. Hotel experience was amazing. Room was clean and comfortable. Great location at a reasonable rate. Customer service an A+. Look out for Ricky, cause he's the man! He'll get you more than what you need and is extremely friendly. Thanks Quality Inn!

Great Overnight Stay
By ChristineK, 3/29/08
We stayed overnight with 2 kids, and couldn't have been happier. Although the room was small, it was very clean and certainly had more ammenities than most comparably priced hotels. The pool and hot tub were nice...the kids had a ball. The breakfast was awesome. Our night was quiet, and our sleep undisturbed. (We could hear the people upstairs walking, running water, etc in the evening). This is a very good value for a downtown stay. If you are fussy about the view...well a downtown hotel of this price will generally look out at another building. If you don't like the noise of city traffic, or walking along a busy road...maybe this isn't the place for you. We had no complaints at all, though, and would recommend it to anyone looking to stay in downtown Seattle conveniently and economically.

It was ok
By Ted, 10/19/07
I was traveling on business purposes. When I looked for places to stay this was the cheapest one of which I was a member of its reward program. Its location is ok. The room appeared clean and neat, although my white socks got a little dirty from walking on the carpet. The bed was comfortable. The staff were not helpful in recommendations for ordering delivery food. All they offered was pizza brochures. They had little information or recommendations for eating nearby. Thankfully my car had a Magellan GPS. They are very hung up on the meal tickets for breakfast. Rather than give me one when I was running behind and had left it in my room, she (the morning desk clerk) made me go back and get it. This is not my idea of customer service (especially for a breakfast that probably costs them all of $1.50. I would not stay here again and would try the newer Comfort Inn (2 blocks away) and pay more.

Would recommend this hotel!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/2/07
We recently traveled to Seattle for a cruise. Decided to spend a few days before and a few days after to see the sights in Seattle. Was very pleased with the staff of this hotel. Two employees stood out, Toy and Ricky, they were more than accommodating with our party of 21. The pool was clean, the hot tub was wonderful, (we had 9 people in this at one time) plenty of room for more. The rooms were cleaned, wireless internet available, the patio on the second floor was an added enjoyment for our party to socialize and visit during our stay. It was convienently located in the city. Walking distance from many ammenities. Great Sandwich shop around the back of the hotel. Shuttle service available, as well as a bus stop right out side the front door ($1.50 to go to Pikes Market, but if you don't mind walking it is a great walk with wonderful scenery along the way). We had NO complaints about this hotel!!!!

Cramped and inconvenient
I'll start out with something positive. The place is clean and in good repair. Amenities and ample and the breakfast service was very generous. The room was very cramped for a family of 4. The parking was a nightmare and not enough for the guest rooms they have. The streets are mostly one ways (one way street in FRONT of the hotel) and you cannot turn left on most streets so if you do not know the area you are best to walk. Location was OK to Space Needle and EMP. Nice pool and lobby.
