La Quinta Inn & Suites Seattle Sea-Tac, Seattle

We stayed for 3 times already, we ignored 1st and 2nd times that the receptionist give stone face and unfriendly looks. 1st time was nice room and bed in 5th floor and second time were in top floor but the hallway smelled of strong alcohol so luckily we can move to 5th floor. The receptionist there not nice at all. 3rd stay was in 4 th floor the mattress was so uncomfortable and bed sheet was wrinkle but clean. The receptionist like usual talk very little and said that the only room. Every time after we stay we received this phony thank you email and the manager said if you have any complaint then please call me I will do what it take. So we call her and tell her that we didn’t satisfy with our last stay if she can give us some discount for next stay that will be nice. But her response not difference than the receptionist she just want we join the membership and stay more to gather the points. The breakfast is unhealthy and the cook try to delay bring the food out especially the boiled eggs.Be aware of non stick carbonized waffle iron for breakfast also the ingredients in the waffle. The fruit is soggy and soaked in some preservative or citric acid sweet solution. The cook was try to delay bring the boiled eggs out. Your breakfast is counted in the hotel rate already. This hotel consider pricey. The view is also boring around the hotel with gas station and fast food restaurant that very close. The pool in outside so don’t ever dream you can swim except in Summer only. The bath tub smelled of very strong Clorox. Only 1 computer available for internet, you may need to line up.

Very glad I read the reviews before traveling as I chose this hotel as a result - good choice! Very easy to locate and was within one block of car rental service we used. We were able to drop off our car early, which saved us some $, and just walk back to the hotel. Staff was extremely helpful - provided immediate refrigerator I requested for medicine. When the printer provided in the lobby wouldn't print out our boarding passes, the woman at the desk quickly jumped in and handled everything at the desk. Hotel let us check in early so we could drop off luggage and have the entire afternoon to explore Seattle before our return home the next day. Room was tastefully decorated, of average size, average bathroom. Very clean and quiet. The hotel must allow dogs, though, as there was a loud, yapping dog across the hall that obviously bothered its neighbors all night since they talked about it on the bus to the airport the next morning. But, once we closed our door, we couldn't hear anything. Hotel breakfast was supposed to start at 6 am and we had to take the shuttle at 6 so we expected not to have any food available to us. But everything was set up before 6 am which let us get something to eat before a long day of traveling. They seemed to anticipate our needs - very nice staff and good value.

We stayed at the La Quinta for a night after arriving on a late flight. The next morning our family enjoyed the included breakfast. I was able to take the hotel shuttle van to an off-airport rental car location about 4 miles away. All-in-all a nice place to stay near the airport w/ great service.

The hotel is next to SEA-TAC airport. There is easy access to the airport and I-5 freeway. The rooms were quiet and the morning meal had good variety. Within 6 miles is Southcenter shopping area with a mall, cinema and lots of resturants but you will need to drive to it.

I was in Seattle on business, and found the hotel easy to get to, and provided a shuttle service to the airport. For being an "airport" hotel the rates were lower than I expected. Check-in was very fast, and they had a pretty good continental breakfast. If you're looking for a hotel near the airport this is well worth the value.

La Quinta Inn at Sea Tac was perfect for a week long conference. The shuttle was a little confusing as there are 4 or 5 La Quinta's in the Seattle / Tacoma area, each with their own van. I got in the wrong van, but the driver happily took me to the hotel where I had reservations. The staff was courteous and very helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. In fact, my room was larger than the one in a hotel across the street that was twice as expensive. They provide "extras" (which are now "standards" in my opinion) such as coffee maker, hair drier, iron. The only downside to the room was that the bathroom vent allowed cigarette smoke from a nearby room to drift into mine (not the hotel's fault as the rooms near mine were to be "nonsmoking." Just another instance of smokers being inconsiderate.) Moreover, La Quinta offered free highspeed internet service (a bonus as the expensive hotel across the street charged $10 daily for internet). The exercise room was modest but adequate for keeping you in shape. Overall, this is an excellent value if you do not want flashy lights, vista views or the "grand" experience. I definitely will use La Quinta SeaTac for future stays.
