Why do I keep doing this to myself???
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 1/18/12
Mirabeau Park Hotel has contracted with a company that offers one day seminars at their facility. I have attended several seminars over the past couple of years and their conference rooms are adequate for this venue. However, since I have to travel 150 miles to attend I often book a room. Invariably the room is shabby, as far away from the conference room as you can possibly get, and there is always problems. Last time my room key wouldn't open the outside door at night, the bathtub didn't hold water and the phone didn't work. When you come in late and have schedules to meet you don't have time to run back and forth to the front desk or wait for maintenance people to fix things. I don't know why they pursue contracts for seminars if they aren't prepared to offer the participants a good experience. I won't be back to stay again.

5 star amenities at a 3 star price
By Dee, 6/7/10
I liked the big flat screen TV, the fluffy robes, the daily fresh box of soap and the amazing food that room service delivered promptly and piping hot. Everything from fresh Idaho trout to caprese salad was artfully prepared and delicious. Rooms not particularly glamorous but spacious and comfy. Better than some 5 star hotels. Seriously.

Would definately go back again!
By Monica, 4/10/08
This hotel was very good for the price. My main focus for liking a hotel room is that they have a great bed. I want a good night sleep, and this is exactly what I got from this hotel. The only thing I was not happy about was the fact that the hot tub was not working.

Inept banquet management
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/13/08
I recently attended a fund raiser banquet on March 1, - The hotel also booked a loud wedding reception in the adjacent banquent room to ours. Our guest speaker could hardly be heard and our dining experience was ruined by the loud inappropriate music next door. The staff of the hotel could not have been more indifferent about the obvious conflict of venues. I would not recommend this facility to anyone under any circumstances.

best hotel in spokane
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/27/07
This hotel was fantastic. The Front Desk staff and manager made sure my stay was wonderful. I ate in the MAX and it was the best meal i had while in spokane. All staff was friendly and helpful. My daughter ended up having an dental emergency and the front desk agent and her manager actually called around to find her a dentist appointment. When they couldn't the manager offered to drive us to the medical center so she could recieve treatment. They went out of there way to help us and it was much appriciated. Anyone staying in spokane should def stay at this hotel. Beds and rooms were beautiful.

Our first choice in Spokane!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/19/07
The staff was wonderful and accomodating - friendly and professional. The room was clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced. The restaurant was great as well - loved the atmosphere. They had live music both nights we were there which was wonderful. We are looking forward to our next stay.

Unreliable as it gets.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/2/07
We made a reservation about one month in advance on the internet with 2 follow up phone calls. We were assured everything was in order. When we arrived at 3 pm we were informed our room had been given to someone else. We were offered a lesser room at about $20 less. The room was inconvenient and would not work. We spent a great deal of time locating another room in town. The restaurant staff was far more concerned about our satisfaction. After a long day of travel this was miserable. We have stayed at multiple facilities in the area each year and this was the worst and the mishandling of it was even worse yet. The manager on duty said it was our fault for reserving a premium room. I fail to see what the reservation system is for at this facility. No reason to test the system again as they have not even answered any email about this blunder either.

One of the best hotels I've ever stayed in!
By Scott, 4/16/07
I've done a lot of travelling, and have been to a LOT of hotels. This one is by far one of the best. I got married here and stayed the night before and the night after. The service was first class, The staff was so quick and attentive to my requests I felt like I was the only one staying there. I had an upgraded king suite and the bathroom was AMAZING. Nice Jaccuzzi tub and a 5 headed shower. I was a little worried at first, the hotel doesn't look too special on the outside, but the rooms are really nice.
