Never stay here!!
When booking a party for my 2 year old, the lady in charge of parties wasn't there to book it. We were told if we got a room it didn't really matter how many guests we had to swim. When we arrived for our night stay we gathered cake, presents and guests in the pool area. As soon as we started our party, however they changed their minds and decided that family wasn't allowed and tried to force all of our guests to leave, even though we only had 3 young kids in the pool. I note their age group since they were the only ones brave enough to enter the ice cold "heated" pool. Anyways, after being given a bill to pay an additonal $125 for the party on top of the room, we told the front desk the information we were given upon booking the room and he decided to allow the party to continue due to lack of communication. You might note that after being there for 2 hours, we still hadn't seen another hotel guest yet so what did it matter that we exceeded five people, especially since the rest of our party was sitting around a picnic table eating.
In addition to the problems that we already had, we had the manager walking by every ten minutes glaring at us, making our party a blast! Then to top it off a half hour later they told us that we needed to vacate again since the worker that booked our room told her manager that we were lying. Of course she said that, we're in a recession! What ever happened to the customer always being right, or even giving them the benefit of the doubt? Being tired of this stressful situation, that should have been a wonderful occasion for my daughter, we sent everyone packing.
As our family was leaving we finally spotted one other couple that was staying that night as well. They sat for awhile by the pool with their dog. Do you think that anyone told them to leave the pool area or mention that dogs aren't allowed to swim? Thinking that our crappy service was going to end here we went up to our room to enjoy an evening in a saggy bed with bricks for pillows. Waking up to a fresh new day we enjoyed stale biscuits and gravy, rubbery hard boiled eggs, and stale pastries. I will never recommend this hotel to anyone. In my opinion, a hotel that gives dogs better service than guests and their families, doesn't know what good customer service is all about.
