THE MANAGEMENT LACKS INTEREST. UNCLEAN
By nonya, 3/16/10
PERHAPS WE JUST STAYED ON A BAD WEEKEND. BUT WE HAD A NUMBER OF FAMILIES STAYING FOR THE WEEKEND. AND THEY RENTED THE COURTYARD OUT TO A "PUNK ROCK BAND". AND THEY CONTINUALLY USED FOUL LYRICS (VERY VERY FOUL) IN THEIR "SONGS". WHEN MAKING A COMPLAINT, AND THERE WERE MANY OF THEM. WE WERE TOLD THAT THERE WASNT ANYTHING THEY COULD DO. THAT THEY HAD A RIGHT TO EXPRESS THEMSELVES. SINCE THEY HAD RENTED THE COURTYARD. AND WERE TOLD THAT IF WE WERENT COMFORTABLE. TO JUST "STAY IN OUR ROOMS. UPON CALLING CORPORATE HEADQUARTERS. THEY MADE A CALL TO THE HOTEL AND WITHIN 10 MINUTES THE "BAND" WAS ASKED TO LEAVE. NEXTLY, WE STAYED 3 NIGHT AND NEVER HAD OUR ROOM CLEANED AND HAD TO ASK 4 TIMES FOR NEW TOWELS. SAVE YOURSELF SOME GRIEF, STAY ELSEWHERE.

Remodel and face lift!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/23/06
For an old hotel, they know how to give old fashioned service! The rooms are remodeled and love the pillowtop soft comfy beds and granite counter tops, refrig, microwave, coffemakers for all the standard price, that pleases me just fine and also the wireless for my laptop. And I got to take my precious 2 little puppy girls with me! This landmark old hotel is getting a complete face lift to compete with the newer hotels. But one of few that can boast of riverfront views. Plenty of grass and river front parks to take my girls for a wonderful walk. Walk ways, swings, picnic tables dotted the riverfront park. Beautiful sunny weather and the dining room made us a box lunch to take to the park and plenty of 50+ year old trees to give lots of shade. The Edgewater dining has a great view of the Columbia river and one of few restaurants that have a priceless view. Also a dinner riverboat! You book your riverboat dinner from the hotel. It was wonderful to go on the riverboat for Sunday brunch and cruise up the Columbia river and take in the sites of the other 2 cities, Kennewick & Pasco. Worth the money to go and the food is wonderful! The lower level on the boat has AC and the upper deck is open air. It has a bar and bathroom! At the hotel,I sure hope they remodel the Edgewater dining room. It shows its age and the ratty tatty curtains need to go! But over look that for tasty gourmet meals and excellant service. I didn't like the location of the hot tub and not private and in view of the dining room, so I didn't use it. Great location to Richland and easy access to the freeway and to go to the mall shopping. Lots of road work going on so the traffic can bog down at rush hour. The hotel has suttle van service to go to the airport in Pasco. I most certainly will visit again.
