You almost get what you pay for

Beware if you are given a room between 1 to 10. You'll be in an area which feels like a poorly remodeled janitor's closet; there is no elevator to this floor. I was rebooked to a room on the third floor and while it was better, it still just felt dirty. Between the carpet feeling odd, the noisy heater and noisier refrigerator the room was not up to par. The cleaning staff skipped my room one day. The clerk - aside from putting me in the basement - had her fun when she had my room cards stop working a day early. It could have been a mistake but was too coincidental. The workout room consisted of one broken eliptical machine, one substandard eliptical and one marginal stationary bike. The sauna has been awaiting repair parts for 6 weeks and it doesn't appear it will be fixed anytime soon. The pool area was OK, and the hot tub was functioning. However the location is quite convenient, it is one of the least expensive hotels in the area but I will look elsewhere next trip.
