Holiday Inn Tanglewood, Roanoke

We reciently stayed at your hotel from July 22-24. Everything was great until around 9:00pm on Saturday night when we came back from dinner and the keys wouldn`t work in our door. So my wife called the front desk and they told her they had moved us for a wedding party, moved us to another room. And that the room would be free for the second night of our stay, which was great. But when they brought our belongings up to our new room, everything had been thrown everywhere. Personial stuff, like my wifes bras, my underwear and our prescriptions, just thrown everywhere. Why couldn`t you have waited and tried contacting us and letting us move our things, instead of letting your people go through our things. Very disappionted !!

Booked 3 rooms months in advance got to the hotel they had me paying for 5 rooms. Then they tried to charge me 3 rooms for 2 nights instead of 1 night. One of the rooms was paid for with cash. They double charged my card. They will not refund me the room. This stay was for a christian conference I tried to be nice. Also, all rooms were to be non smoking but one in my group ended up in a smoking room. Guess We learn from our mistakes. Stay away........... Lots of young non experienced employees.

My colleague and I had booked an overnight stay. We checked in mid afternoon but didn't bring our bags to our room until late in the evening. We both found the hotel to be filty, covered with dust so thick that it was clear that it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. Both rooms had identical levels of filth. We asked for different rooms and were told that the hotel was sold out (absolutely not true). We were told that they would write our complaint in their log book. We had a fitfull night's sleep not want to come in contact with any of the dirt. We complained about the room when we checked out and was told that it would be written in their log. When we returned home from our trip we began to call to speak with the front desk manager and the owner Bhu Pesh Patel who would do nothing about it because they claimed that it wasn't in their log book. Clearly someone is alseep at the wheel and it isn't the guests. If you have a choice CHOOSE to stay somewhere else.
