Enjoyable

After entering the hotel, which was so easy to find,I was a bit skeptical because while standing in line to check in, another person was there to complain about a leak in his room that had been "patched". He was requesting another room, and seemed to have no problem getting another. I told my sister and daughter, "we better go check our room before we go get our luggage." Upon entering our room we were pleasantly pleased. It was clean, didn't have any odors, everything was clean, crisp and new looking. The mattress was wonderful! It felt as if it was quite possibly a new one. This feature is important to me since I have back problems. It was hard to get the toilet to flush but we figured it out.I wish there was more parking "AT" the hotel. Being a handicap, I had to park a block away and walk back to the hotel that night because it was full.
The dining room, front desk & housekeeping personel were friendly and accommodating. However, I did think that $214.00 a night for the room was quite expensive since I have stayed at more a prestigious hotel in the Myrtle Beach area, on the beach with all the ammenites/activites you could possibly want right on site for $133.00 a night in the peak season.
There is absolutely no doubt that we would use this Holiday Inn Oceanside,Virginia Beach again. In fact, are planning to go there again next summer.
