Econo Lodge Airport, Sandston

It was a little run down. It was generally clean and did not smell bad, however. Parking accommodations were poor. I did not feel safe in that area and would not recommend it to a family.

I stayed at this hotel for the past two days and the rooms are horrible. The best looking thing about the place is the lobby. I reserved a non smoking room and to my surprise when I got there the room was not clean and the cleaning crew walked into my room with a cigarette in her hand (mind you this is a non smoking room) I had to stop her from going in. The linen smelled like smoke and the carpet was NASTY.If you are a woman traveling alone this is not the place for you. The people that hung around outside at all times of night was a bit scary.Please do not waste your money on this place.There was nothing to like about this place except that it is close to the airport. The health inspector should ve notified about these conditions

It was clean and nice. Good breakfast. Nice friendly staff. Very helpful. I would recommend this hotel to any one who is traveling in the area. Good hotel location to airport, and resturants.
