6 reviews for Sheraton Burlington Hotel and Conference Center, South Burlington
The worst hotel I have ever stayed :(
By yuping, 07/08/09
I booked and prepaid (with no-refund) for 2 rooms because I saw positive reviews for this hotel. It turned out a very unpleasant experience for our vacation. First, there was no room available for what I booked - Deluxe King with sofa bed. I am a SPG guest, but they gave me a room UNDERground. The rooms are supposed to be non-smoking, but the smoking smell was so unbearable in both rooms. We ended up with one room with a queen size bed and the other room with a King size bed only (not sofa bed). Cannot believe it is a Sheraton.

Great location and wonderful people!
By PaulG, 06/05/07
A perfect location for visits to UVM and a stellar staff. We asked lots of questions and received accurate answers, frequently with maps. We'd recommend it to anyone. Great!

Good beds, but a few problems
By PaulG, 05/16/07
The hotel is just fine and the beds are good. But there was a lot of dust on surfaces and someone had to come up from the front desk to disconnect the movie box before we could get decent TV reception. Front desk people were very nice.

Good Hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/12/07
When i first walked into the hotel i was impressed. Past the cheak in desk is a vary nice sitting area, that is vary homeie. The pool was vary nice to but the one downside is everyone passing by can see you swimming. I LOVED the dinning their. The resturant, G'S, Is vary nice and when eatting it feels you are outside. The hotel also has a vary nice bar area were you can sit and enjoy a nice glass of wine in the evning. Overall i like my stay at the hotel and would reccomend it to anyone staying around the area.

Check your room BEFORE you actually sleep in it!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/26/06
I arrived quite late to the Sheraton and checked into my supposed non-smoking room. When I opened the door the stagant smoke filled room engulfed me.I am asthmatic and quickly went to the front desk requesting a NON SMOKING room. They assured me that the hotel was ALL non-smoking and that there must be some mistake. They also advised me that the hotel was full and no other rooms were available. I demanded that someone from the hotel come smell this room. The security guard couldn't believe how bad it was and we tried for an hour to get the smoke out-The window only opens 2 inches. At 2am we decided that this was the best we could do. I hoped that taking a shower would make me feel better. Guess what...the shower head didn't work! This place is EXPENSIVE, rundown and not worth it. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

Nice hotel!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/04/06
This hotel is an A+. The location is great, and very convienent to downtown Burlington. The hotel staff was friendly, helpful and courteous. Our room was clean & spacious. Of course, the beds were sooo comfortable! The hotel decor was very trendy. My husband & I had a party in Vermont to celebrate our wedding. Most of our out of state guests stayed at this hotel. Prior to going out one evening, a group of us met in the hotel bar. The bartender overheard that we were planning to go out in downtown Burlington. He arranged a courtesy hotel shuttle for us (which is not a usual service). The hotel is expensive, but if you are going to the Burlington area, it is the greatest place to stay!
