Needs lots of TLC.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/02/08
We arrived Friday Night and could not find the place because it was not display very well. We did not know that the Burlington Inn was not the Comfort Suites - NO SIGN. The staff was not very friendly, as though we were bothering them. The room smelled like 20 people had been smoking in it. We got deodorizer and still could not get rid of the smoke smell. The frig was so cold that it froze all of our beverages. You could not regulate the shower you either got very hot or extreme cold. We found that none of the exterior doors were secure. The trash barrel in the front lobby to our building was over flowing with garbage from Friday til we departed on Sunday and they never even vacuumed the rugs which were disgusting. We checked out the compl. breakfast and opted for Friendly's thank goodness they were right next door. I will say that the beds were very comfortable. If they had a caring Manager to give this place some TLC it really would be nice.

bad experience, wont go back
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/20/08
In all my life i have never stayed in a worse hotel..Cannot say anything good about this hotel..The rooms are the most unclean i have ever seen in a hotel..Switched rooms 3 times due to the rooms being so awful. Finally checked out at 9pm with small kids to go look for another hotel..Ahhh,,,the pool... is so cold that you need a heating blanket to unthaw after you get out of it.

would like to come back on a pleasure trip
By Git-R-Done!, 01/25/08
I liked the staff they were helpful and curtious. I went during the winter so there was a little problem with the snow, but that's unavoidable. If you walk outside and then back in you will bring snow with you, so that's not really an issue. The rooms were nice. Indoor pool and hot tub. small weight room and walking distance from the University Mall.

Needs a lot of work!!!!!!!!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/11/07
I'm saddened to see this place go down hill its in such a great location..but the rooms are in bad shape, not saying that there not clean, some are. I know that the housekeeping is doing the best they can with such a hard manager. I see the housekeepers are working so fast and thats why the rooms are not up to everyones satisfaction. If they were not pushed so hard and forced to get rooms done in 15minutes per conversations with housekeeping(Very nice housekeeper). This hotel needs everything new but the owners will not budge on buying anything new, they just get old furniture from other hotels...I just want housekeeping its not there fault its management

Dissappointed
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/26/07
We have stayed at your Inn many, many times utilizing the shuttle service. Very convient, however, the last couple times we have seen the facility go "downhill" and the last visit was not a good experiences. Since we are long time customers, we have been very kindly been given an upgrade but not the last time. The drapes were torn; lock on the slidder was a wooden stick; no coffee maker in the room (and you would think since this is billed as suite) and the bathtub was very slippery. It is also unclear what the Comfort Inn plays in all of this. Are there two separate sections? The Comfort side seems to be much better maintained. Are there any plans for the Univerity Inn side? Is there a site I can go to get a response to these issues? I will be glad to furnish my e-mail address in order for this to happen. Thanks for your attention.

Wunnerful, luvly hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/02/07
I loved the TWO pools, the fabulose price ($99!) and the helpful staff. I stayed for 4 days and will always remember my trip to Lake Champlain. Maybe they could have given us more for breakfast, though. Otherwise, a lovely hotel to remember!

average night stay
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/15/07
Walls between room very thin; could hear every syllable of conversations in adjacent rooms. Otherwise, just an average hotel. Advertised breakfast was a disappointment -- cold coffee and bagels. We went to Friendly's which sits in front of hotel. One inside pool with questionable cleanliness, outside pool looked better. Right next to highway, so somewhat loud.

Convenience
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/03/07
We have stayed on several occasions. The Inn is clean, and the breakfast is adequate. The features that are very important for us are; airport shuttle and park and fly. Yes we intend to go back and often.

a few days away
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/12/07
The overall service was good, however I was disappointed to find that there wasnt a coffee maker, ironing board, or iron and no refridgerator as refered to in the welcome brochure. I also was disappointed to find out that because the hotel has different sections (not attached) you physically had to leave the building( if you were not in the main suites) to enjoy the continental breakfast. A disadvantage to staying in the main suites would be that if you wanted to use the indoor pool you also had to leave your building. On the positive side, our room was adequately clean and there was a wide variety of foods offered for their contintental breakfast. Another nice surprise was the 24 hour coffee/tea/hot chocolate and evening cookies.
