The Worst of All
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/17/05
I work in the seismic industry and have had for the last 8+ years. I stay on the road almost exclusively and find myself in motels most of the time. This is by far the worst I have had the experience to have stayed at. I often use my room as an office as well, since I seldom stay in one place for more than a few months. I have never had any trouble with motel management removing a spare bed from the room or doing anything else I request within reason, that is, until I came to the Woodville Inn. Management not only refused to remove the extra bed, they told me that I would be asked to leave if I even broke it down and leaned it against the wall to get it out of the way. I can overlook the 2 thin, small bath towels that I would get every other day, the swimming pool that is filled in with loose dirt and even the $.35 local call charge which I had to use quite frequently since there is no DSL and I had to have access to the internet to communicate with the outside world, but there was no talking with this bunch. The management took the stance of "if you don't like it, leave" attitude. If there was any other option, I surely would have. Think twice before you come here........
