Chase Suite Hotel El Paso, El Paso

Went to El Paso to visit my boyfriend before he flew out for a year long deployment in Iraq. Started off great!, rooms were nice, no hot water in our bathtub, but we didn't really care too much. The setting of the hotel was very cool at night, had two different pool areas, neither of the hot tubs had hot water it was more like pool temp and the maintenance guy said " oh yeah we are working on that". Okay whatever not a big deal, pool was freezing too but whatever still enjoying the vacation. Third night there, we find out the room next to us is a group of kids having a post prom party ( odd cause you have to be 21 to rent the hotel room...) anyways they were standing on the balconey drinking and smoking something that smelled illegal and we were coming back from the pool. The kids said he we are having a little party just wanted to let you know if we are a little loud let us know. we said okay, whatever we wont get involved they seemed respectful enough. about 230 am the cops come kick the kids out its okay though cause they all got into their cars and drove home no breathalyzers or anything given to these drunk kids who just smashed glass bottles all over the parking lot. Anyways so my bpyfriend and I had also been drinking in our room with 2 friends and we went to bed shortly after. then around 4 am I wake up to see a girl in a yellow prom dress LEAVING MY ROOM WITH MY CAMERA!!! neither my boyfriend or I had any clothes on and I was in utter shock! we got up and found some of out things had been stolen ...my ring, my brand new camera, my money out of my wallet, some of my boyfriends clothign, our alcohol and then we found his new computer sitting in a puddle of beer...that was nice of them... Long story short, CHASE SUITES DID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING FOR US! They actually refused to even give us a general managers name. The man Caesar, literally was hiding in back and a girl went to find him and we saw him shake is hands as if he wanted her to pretend he was unavailable!! The young man working the night shift was very nice to us, (although it was crap it was nice how he was trying to help more than anyone else we came into contact with that night) he gave us a new room which was supposedly " the best room they had" It had a robe on the bed, hot water, a bigger chair and some shotty track lighting, oh and a bottle of sparkling water... we slept for like 4 hours and still angry we decided we couldnt stay. The only thing they did do for us was let us out of our reservation to leave. We went across the street to the MARIOTT which was 1000000000 times nicer and it really saved our last day together. Mostly I was just said that all our pictures of our last time together for a year were taken by some stupid drunk teens. I would have given them the camera if I could have just kept the memory card. It was a really sad experience and then to top it off the hotel did nothing for us. at all. Showed no remorse. Probably because my boyfriend was military and obviously not from around there. They take care of their own and don't care about travelers and really dont like military. Sad experience. I would highly recommend the Mariott. Very nice. Great service. Great Pool. Great restaurant. Great everything. Please dont stay at Chase Suites. They do not deserve and business. They definately do not care about their guests. I feel that even one star is being too generous. They had someones credit card informations to reserve the room and someone could have been contacted and we could have found out who was involved so someone could have been held accountable however that never happend. Like I said all I wanted was to have my pictures back...

This hotel was very nice. It was very clean, service was great and they provided me with everything I needed. The beds were very comfortable. I would stay here again if I ever go back to El Paso.
