Stay elsewhere
By Brenda, 3/17/12
checked into the room at 6pm and got a room key (435) went to the room only to find that it was in the process of being cleaned. One bed was totally unmade and there was still trash in it from the previous occupant. About 30 minutes later we were able to get unpacked. The room smelled like mold. There is no free breakfast but they do give you a coupon for a kid breakfast for free. The hotel is in a run down part of town and there was what appeared to be a "lady of the evening" standing a few buildings away. Don't pay to stay here. The pool was nice and the atrium was nice but overall not a Holiday Inn I'd stay at ever again.

HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE HORRIBLE, STAY AWAY!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/2/11
If you like to have working toilets, lights that turn on, and an A/C unit that works in 100+ degree weahter, DON'T STAY HERE!! We were assigned room #340, whereupon entry into the room, we discovered the bathroom light did not work AT ALL, and the A/C unit did not provide cold air, it just blew room temp air even when i set the temp to 63 degrees. Amber who worked front desk at the time (around 6-7pm) assigned the room next door #341, where the desk lamp and phone were non-operational (both plugged in, the lamp had one bulb), and the toilet didn't flush, unless you put your hand in the tank to release the water, this is not something guests should be doing. when we told Amber about these faults in the room, she said there was nothing she could do. When I contacted Linda the "manager" of the hotel the next day, she claimed to have done an "investigation" into our complaints and found that there was nothing wrong with either of the rooms we were booked and that we were liars. She was extremely rude, made threats to not do anything about the deficiencies of the two rooms we were placed in, and I'm sure doctored all the results of her so-called investigation into the aforementioned deficiencies by claiming none of the deficiencies we complained about existed. This is horrible customer service, and guests should never be yelled at for wanting basic hospitality services like lights, A/C on an extremely hot day, and working toilets. I vow to never EVER stay at another Holiday Inn ever again. We want our money back and to leave this disastrous experience behind us. The rooms all smelled like smoke even though we requested a non-smoking room, the common areas around the pool were littered with cups and a beer keg from a party I guess someone had the night before and hotel staff and not cleaned up. We have a 2 yr old and didn't feel like she could use the tiny fungicide infected pool, the restaurant on site was one of the worst to call themselves a restaurant, and EVERY SINGLE STAFF MEMBER in the hotel was the epitome of RUDENESS!! If you value your peace of mind and don't want to go through what we went through, AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

3 out of 10 stars!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/5/11
I like that there was a washing machine and free dryer. The bartender was a great guy and made us some really good cocktails!! We were told our room was nonsmoking, and that there would be a $250 fine for smoking, but we were placed in a smoking room with an ash tray. When we asked to move they informed us that they had no more nonsmoking rooms! The bed was sunken in the middle, the tub rusty, clogged and dirty. The bathroom was old and grungy. The hotel smelled like mildew and so did the rooms. This hotel should not be rated 3 stars in any way!! Maybe a 3 out of 10 stars. This was awful!! I am so disappointed in the rating! I felt mislead! From now on 4 stars at least!

Crappy Condition and horrible customer services
By Natalie, 7/27/10
It smells stink as soon as we entered the room. The hanger is dropped on the floor. The shower head is horrible. The room does not look like the one they shows on their web. We complained about the problem at the services desk, they replied you reserved your room through priceline.com, so this is what you get! This is not the first time we've reserved a room through priceline.com, but this is the first time we did not get the same quality as we reserve through their own website. (ALSO, WE ONLY SAVED $10.00). DON'T STAY IN THIS HOTEL.

Ok place, could be better.
By Philip, 5/27/10
I did not like the fact that we had to pay EXTRA to get breakfast. I mean, it's an expensive hotel and they DON'T Include breakfast. Also, when my family checked in we have to walk at least blocks to our room. This hotel is a maze. I don't plan on coming back. But the Room looks awesome. Internet is slow. Lobby is AMAZING. Pool is cool =)

Holiday Inn Leopard Street
By JT, 5/20/10
Styed here 2 years ago and was overbilled - after arguing wigh manager found that they had charged me for some movies that were purchased 8 hours before i checked inn. but until she found that out - was not going to take off my bill - this past weekend they over charged me by 50 dollars - I just called there and have to call back at 10. Would not recommend, only stayed there this time becasue our beach to bay captain made reservations there. Althought the place was niceer this time, they still over charged me again.

Kids Loved Our Stay
By Tina, 3/24/10
My family and I recently stayed while on spring break 3-18 thru 3-20. EVERYONE was so nice and professional. Overall very clean. Rooms perfect for my family of 4. The temp. outdoors were in the 40's so the indoor pool came in very handy for our whole stay. The indoor pool was my kids fave. The only thing I can honestly reccomend next time, the pool area close to the mens restroom got a little flooded but understandly so due to the weather, I think most of your guest took advantage of the pool area. Would definetly reccomend you to my family and friends.:)

Bunch of Thieves
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/3/09
No my car didn't get broken into. The workers use their master keys to go in your room and steal your valuable. Make sure you take everything with you if you are going out for a few hours. I reported the incident to management and they were the worst in customer service. I stayed there to save $10 and now I am out several hundred. Never again will I stay at a holiday inn.

Never go here
By Mommy2twogirls, 9/21/08
We liked that it had air conditioning and that was it! We were fleeing Hurricane Ike and found this place. For one thing, they went ahead and took out $260 from my bank as an insurance type thing. We got to our room , toilet did not work all night. They refused to have maintenance take care of it. We ordered room service and the food was DISGUSTING! And OVERPRICEd. My husband was sick from the food the same night. The TV didn't work , I would recomment NEVER going here. I would rather sleep in my car.
