Expensive Internet!

Last time I was here, I stayed at the Drury Inn in the North Side of town, and there wasn't much to do up there. This time I stayed here, right in the thick of things. There is shopping and restaurants all within 2 miles of this place.
A real plus for me was Cracker Barrel and Outback Steakhouse were a short walk away! Krispy Kreme donuts can be found hot and fresh down the road as well! Wal-Mart, Target, and Best Buy are all less than 5 minutes away as well.
I stayed at this Embassy Suites for 5 days/4nights.
The staff was very friendly on check in and gave me a tube of toothpaste because I didn't pack any. The rooms are large and spacious. The bed is quite comfortable. Getting a copy of USA Today each morning was a nice bonus. Another bonus was, the fountain drink machine is on 24/7, so no need to plunk down dollar bills for vending machine beverages. Just fill up a small container and take it back to the room, which has a kitchenette: with a 1/2 size refrig and microwave.
The breakfast in the mornings was quite good. They pride themselves of Omelets, which I don't like, but I was still able to get a bowl of Froot Loops, 2 large fresh made pancakces, lots of fresh bacon, sausage, and potatoes, along with OJ and blueberry muffins, and a Dr. Pepper, all FREE!
Relatively speaking, the breakfast at a Hampton Inn is almost as good in my experience, as that is usually where I stay. I am a Hilton Club member.
The atrium area was nice and open and there always seemed to be people there. Likewise, it also can make for a late night, as all rooms are "on the inside" which is where the atrium is, so it can get a little loud in the evenings, since that is also where the bar area is. If you go to bed early, before 10PM, you will probably hear quite a bit of talking and laughing going on until about that time.
The only real complaints I had about this stay were:
(1) I noticed that there was a strange odor coming out of the bathroom sink faucet. I don't know what that was all about.
(2) The froot loops cereal dispenser was broken, and never worked properly
(3) The key card access to the room and side door seemed to work intermittently, and had to be tried several times before getting the green light.
(4) The TV in the bedroom was what I would call, "slow response". When I would change channels it would take about 1-second before it would happen and the screen would go black and then come back up. I've been in hotels with these kinds of TVs before, and it drives me nuts! The TV in the work area worked as a normal TV should, quick response when changing channels.
(5) My 5th complaint, and most significant, is the $9.95/day internet access charge. Every other place I stay WIFI is complimentary, but not here. If your company is paying your tab, as mine was, it's ok to get it, but if you're footing the bill yourself, it's a rip-off.
