bathrooms need a facelift
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/18/07
A lovely hotel but I was on the 6th floor which meant I had to take one elevator to the 5th floor, walk down the hall and take another elevator to the 6th. The bathrooms are dated and my toilet ran each time until I jiggled the handle. Service was great. $940 for 2 nights for a nice room.

$5.00 FOR A BUCKET OF ICE ? YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/29/07
It started off badly when there wasn't a soul in the hotel that could tell us how to get to the hotel and we were already downtown. Finally after the 6th phone transfer we arrived and luckily ran into a wonderful valet who told us how to find the parking garage. After parking the car we made our way to the front lobby. We had made reservations through a travel agent - double beds as we were traveling with our children - no smoking - our youngest has asthma. 1st room-king bed- moved us - 2nd room - smoking - child has asthma attack - moved us again. Our 3rd room was the room we had asked for and paid for. We had to have ice for our youngest to take his medicine. Guess what ? Not an ice machine to be found. No liners for the buckets either, gross. A housekeeper found us wandering the halls and wanted to know what we needed. "Ice", I replied. She said, "I'll get you some." She was gone for a long time, when she came back she expained that ice costs $5.00 at Crescent. My jaw was on the floor and I think she had mercy on me ,anyway I wasn't charged. The concierge was the highlight of our stay. Wonderful! He knew everything.

Not up to par
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/01/07
Hotel is understaffed. Did not get a package that I had been expecting. Asked twice about it and was told it was not there,or possibly it had been delivered to my room, but if not I should "check with the Concierge in the morning when he comes on duty". Guess the Concierge has better hours than the guests. Noisy rooms that need some work - carpet was stained in the room. If you need anything from housekeeping, they leave at midnight, so you will have to wait until the morning. (I thought SERVICE is what a 5 star hotel provides) On the upside - good location, nice public areas - lobby, etc. Probably was a better hotel a few years ago, but if they want to be a 5 star hotel they need to train their staff better. You can do a lot better at many other Dallas hotels.

Dont Stay Here!!!!!!!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/19/06
I stongly recomend you not stay at this hotel. I had a horable experience here. At one point I requested room service and a man dressed like a quaker showed up and claimed he turned cats and dogs against eachother? Anyway, this is one example of the many awful exeriences I have had here. The location is great, but the experience is one I wish to forget. The room was filthy. The service was horrible. The hotel looks flawless from the out side, but don't be fooled.

Spa at the Crescent Court
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/24/05
The Spa at the Crescent Court is the Best. I've visited several "top notch" spas from LA to the Carribbean, and by far The Spa at the Crescent Court outshines them all! When I visit other spas, I seem to always be disappointed in them, as they come no where near the service and atmosphere of the Crescent Courts. I've never stayed in the hotel itself, since I live in Dallas, but am looking forward to doing so in the near future by using one of their hotel/spa packages for a special date.

Totally Unprofessional - Be wary when you make reservations!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/10/05
I've stayed at this hotel once before and was pleased with the service. However, I made reservations here for two rooms for two nights for my brother's graduation. The Marketing Director call me three days prior to our arrival and said we no longer had the reservations because a group had extended their stay. They offered us two rooms at an inferior hotel and we still had to pay full price for the new hotel. They offered us only one night's complimentary stay at the Crescent Court as compensation. Becuase the graduation was only 3 days away, all nicer hotels were booked at this point and we had to settle paying full price for a hotel that was not of our choice. Beware when you make your reservations here...you could end up without them!

Excellent Hotel - Great Location
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/09/04
As good as it gets in Dallas, not quite the Mansion but much more centrally located to nice restaurants and bars. Very convenient to the American Airlines Center for Mavs and Stars games.
