Hill Country Motel, Marble Falls

Well, I was a little scared at booking this hotel after reading the 3 reviews posted, but, we did out of budgetary needs. When I opened the door to my room , I was amazed. It has been completly renovated ( the rooms ) new carpet, bed spreads,refer, computer desk, nice lamps, nice tv in an armoire, bigger than expected and sparkling clean. Located next door , Italian Food, Liquor Store, Catfish & BBQ food. Plenty of room for big rigs. Ask for a room on main street, not on the Hiway 281 side. The staff (especially Trish) was great, it is privately owned, and the owner has gone out of his way to upgrade and compete in a large hotel game in a small community. We will be back for next year's convention at the Hill Country Motel. Reconsider staying here vs. 1 or 2 year old comments here. Happy Trails Colleen

Nasty, Cheap and Horrible Service, I think I would much rather spend my moeny else where, than this motel. The breakfast was awful, and dirty rooms did not help much to the matter.

Nasty, Dirty and awwful, are some of the words I can use to discribe my stay at the hill country Inn, in Marble falls. They caim to be the lowest, but that's the BIGGEST LIE, there are two other hotels pretty much the same price range and MUCH MUCH BETTER rooms. We had to stay at the Hill Country Inn, because the Quality Inn, and the BW , both were sold out. The Hill Country Motel has " LOWEST RATES IN TOWN", that's a big lie. I suggest you check with the other hotels in the area before you stay at this dump, I promise you'll be disappointed.
