Be careful at this hotel
By phototom, 01/21/09
Rude staff, The people treats you like nothing until they find out you are staying there, one valet person was rude to one person picking me up. I have had a much more pleasurable stay at the loews hotel then this over rated hotel.

Amazing
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/31/08
My husband and I stayed there for a couple of nights because we didn't have a honeymoon due to the fact that we got married the night before Katrina in New Orleans. The staff was amazing, and the valet guys remembered my dog's name. The Capitol Grille was under renovations, but the dinner was still first class. I work at Saks Fifth Avenue, and I know great service. This hotel exceeded our expectations.

Wonderful Hotel
By J.M., 05/27/08
My husband and I spent a couple nights away in Nashville and stayed here. I didn't want to leave the hotel! Everyone was so friendly and helpful. We couldn't believe the value of the room. I know we could not have gotten a better place for a better price. We won't be staying anywhere but here when in Nashville. My only negative is that the Capitol Grille was under renovations and we had to eat a buffet on the veranda, and my husband & I were looking forward to a nice dinner. Of course, that doesn't change how we feel about the hotel.

What a break from Iraq!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/14/08
I flew in from Iraq on R&R, having lived in a tin can with little to no amenities and walked into a dream right in downtown Nashville. My wife and I enjoyed every aspect of the hotel. The room was great and the staff was very prompt and curteous. Champagne with chocolate strawberries, silk robes and the bed were divine and don't miss out on that awesome tub! Eat at the Hermitage Cafe, check out the bathroom as well. Too cool. Another night will be booked when I return from my deployment. No questions asked.

Wow!
We got a night's stay here as a honeymoon present. Gorgeous place, wonderful service. Chocolate-dipped strawberries and champagne were in our room when we got there. Our floor was very quiet even though we were in the middle of downtown on Saturday night. The best part? The deep bathtub. You don't want to stay without taking advantage of the bathtub. Whether you're coming off of months of stressful wedding planning, a night on the town, or even just a long trip, a soak in that tub will do wonders. As great as the rest of the room was, the tub was the show-stealer.

they REALLY care!
By GailS, 08/10/06
my 11 year old and i traveled to nashville from california as a "field trip." returning from a day of sight-seeing, my son smashed his thumb in the car door...upon hearing his screams, all the hotel staff within earshot ran to his aide...later that night, milk, cookies, and a get-well card were sent up to our room. that is just ONE example of their attentiveness. i found the staff here to be extremely kind, welcoming, hospitable, and in my son's words, "it's like they REALLY care about you, not like it's just their job!" that goes for everyone from the doorman to the front desk to the concierge to the wait staff in the restaurant AND the bar!

The Best in Nashville
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/09/06
The Hermitage Hotel is without a doubt the best hotel in Nashville! The bellhops are very friendly and helpful from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave. You get silk robes, slippers, complimentary bottled water and two cookies (per person) each night and so much more. The bathrooms are also one of the best aspects as they are very large with a garden bathtub, separate shower, water closet and two sinks with a large mirror. I'm not sure what could have been better about The Hermitage. If you are looking for a luxurious place to stay in the Music City then I highly recommend this hotel.

Highlight of Nashville trip!
By Karen, 07/19/06
We loved that our dog was welcome at this pristine, beautiful hotel. They even provided a dog bed for him--not that he used it! He was quite happy to lie in our super comfy king size bed. The size of the rooms here is really nice. Both the room (500 sq ft) and bathroom are huge, so you don't trip over eachother every time you turn around. Bathroom has awesome shower and separate soaking tub. Staff here is excellent and attentive. Great with recommendations, directions, and booking shows through the concierge. We would definitely stay here again.
