Econo Lodge Inn and Suites, Jackson

I loved the breakfast.The food was very tasty and a large selection was available. The room that I had was smelly,like wet dogs.I asked desk for room freshener but none was provided.Hechecked room number and made an apology.The pillows looked like someone had just gotten off the bed and they smelled like wet hair and smoke.This was a non-smoke room.I stayed because I knew the breakfast would be great the next morning and I didn't want to go out late at night.

The staff and the owner are just crazy. The owner will start problems with the guest for no reason. They will not let you have any guest. The service was lousey

It seems, according to other reviews, that I too encountered the SAME problems. The room they gave me was already occupied by someone else. The second room key WOULD NOT work, and I had to make a third trip to the front desk, where the front desk clerk was too busy attending to her cigarette and friends. I felt that I was not a priority while she was busy getting paid to socalize and smoke. Finally getting into my room, I was sadly disappointed, but too tired to leave. The mirrors in the room looked like they hadn't been cleaned in quite some time, due to the dust. The floors looked unclean and the bathroom tub had some sort of a sticky brown substance in it. I was very patient the next morning upon checkout where the front desk clerk apologized and then charged my card, as well. But 5 stars on the INTERNET CONNECTION!! It was wonderful. It allowed me to type this review from my vehicle in their spacious parking lot. Five stars on the spacious parking lot, too!!!!

I arrived at the hotel very early before check-in time and the staff was very polite in trying to accomodate my early check-in. The entire front desk staff was trying to find me the perfect room and I was pleased at how hard they were trying to accomodate my requests. The room was very clean and the furniture was nice. The 4th floor hallways were a little hot and seemed to not have much air circulating, but the rooms were well cooled and very nice. The continental breakfast was incredible. I have never seen such a big spread at a hotel before. The pool was way above average size and I also received a free pass to Gold's Gym for all hotel guests. I very much enjoyed my stay and I would go back any time.

The overall experience was not bad except for the fact that when we checked in at noon I asked for a crib for my son, Upon returning to the hotel at 8 p.m. their was still no crib so I called the front desk and she said it would be an hour and a half well it never came because I told them never mind my son was already asleep needless to say no one slept well beacuse of it so I guess i wouldn't recommend it.
