Days Inn Alcoa, Alcoa

The high speed internet worked great, but it is about the only good thing I have to say for this hotel. The planes go directly over the hotel, very low, and very loud. This is an older hotel---I do think they have better rooms in some parts of it?----but we were put in an older part. At night, when it cooled off, and I put the heat on, this horrible sickening floral smell penetrated the room. I have allergies, and am very allergic to air fresheners, and this is what that smell reminded me of , and was somehow coming from the heating unit, once we put it on. Our clothes and luggage was saturated with this smell. We ended up washing our clean and dirty laundry to get the smell out of our clothes. We came close to leaving in the middle of the night, due to my breathing problems caused by this scent. My husband asked about whether there was a continental breakfast or not, and was told there was not??---- so I can not comment on that. I would for sure pick a different hotel next time. There are lots in the area. This one was cheaper but not worth the price difference.

Good enough place for me to bother leaving a review, which is rare. Great Staff, and an actual breakfast including eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits & gravy.

Great place to catch a game at the UT stadium right outside of knoxville but far enough to avoid the chaos. they even have a bus that takes you to the game!

liked the hotel,near airport,good breakfast friendly staff. rooms were clean.liked the location near lots of nice places to eat

stayed just for a night and took advantage of the free airport parking. was going to pay to park at the airport for a couple weeks but instead for the price of a room I can park here for free and be driven to the airport.

I recently went to the Days Inn and stayed in one of their suites. The staff was extremely accomodating and was always willing to answer questions and provide us with information about the different types of rooms and what there is to do around there. The location of the hotel is perfectly placed near the airport and among many different restraunts. You can even see the Smokey Mountains from some of the rooms! They have free wireless internet and a free shuttle to and from the airport. We even upgraded to their Honey Moon suite (which didn't cost that much more) and it was fantastic. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was decorated beautifully. They even have a hottub in there! I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

came here a while back it's much better now all new furniture plus the breakfast actually has eggs and bacon - the biscuits and gravy are great. more than I expected for the price.

My family and I just visited from Florida. We were going to stay at another hotel in town which a friend recommended, for the price. We compared both rooms and the days inn was the easy choice, not only that but they matched the cheaper price and gave us an additional 15% off. We will be coming here again!

wasn't expecting much for the price but these rooms are as good as or better than a lot of the more expensive hotels in the city. The huge pool and hot breakfast was a bonus.

We were late checking out and the maids did not even change the sheets they were just making up the beds!!!
