Now a Radisson, this is a good place to stay.
The 2005 reviews obviously pre-date the renovation and change from Sheraton to Radisson.
Our one-bedroom suite was clean, nicely furnished and included a flat-screen tv and Sleep Number bed.
The atrium lobby and bar were busy all evening as was Columbo's restaurant, where we ate Saturday dinner and Sunday breakfast. Our dinner, including reasonably-priced prime steaks, was one of the best hotel meals I can recall having.
Columbo's was packed with dinner customers including a party of 35 people, but thanks to a remarkably attentive restaurant manager and staff, our service never missed a beat.
One reviewer claimed there are no restaurants for miles. I guess he missed the Cracker Barrel that's a quarter mile down the road.
No, this is NOT your father's Sheraton. It is a well-managed, comfortable hotel with many amenities, friendly staff and food that's a cut above most hotels.
