An oasis amidst your I-95 journey

Clark's restaurant is a peaceful place to stop to break up your trip. The restaurant is well maintained and the service is always very good. It has an atmosphere akin to a British hunting lodge.
We've eaten there twice; and my parents have eaten there three times. Every time has been a good experience. It was surprisingly good the first time we stopped -- definitely better than anything else we've found on I-95 between Savannah and Raleigh.
Dinner includes their salad bar and comes with hot, fresh bread. Be sure to try the Million-Dollar Bread, too.
Their pasta was very good; the tomato-basil pasta is great. The local catfish, fried, is not bad; next time, I might try it blackened. (Note -- I have very high standards in catfish. I grew up dining on the local catfish of Ray's Mill Pond of Ray City, Georgia.) Their vegetable dishes are very good. The baked chicken good, but not spectacular.
The lunch buffet is reported to be very good.
It's very popular, but has never been overcrowded.
Dinner with Million Dollar bread and two entrees, but no drinks or dessert, was $32.
