Bugs....
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/05/06
I've got one word for you.....BUGS! The first thing my family and I noticed when we pulled into the parking lot of the Hartwell Inn was a single car in the parking lot. We commented, "this does not look good". The front desk clerk was very nice and checked us in. Upon arrival to the room, I literally had to open the door with a boost from my shoulder. After we entered the room, I immediately went to the rear of the room where the sink was located. I saw and killed two bugs right away. In the mean time, my daughter was commenting on an ant in the bathtub. I picked up the coffee maker, and there were several bug "pieces" under it. My wife decided, right away, that we were not staying there. We called the front desk and told the lady of the situation and inquired of charges if we did not want to stay there. She, again, was very courteous and told us to just leave the room keys in the room and we wouldn't be charged. We were, however, charged one night on our charge card and I'm still trying to get that charge reversed.

We stayed because it was our last resort
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/08/05
The rooms were pretty good, but I still have stayed in better hotels, but its a great little hotel for a football weekend, since u dont spend any time in the room anyway. the one thing I did not like was the bathroom area. I dont like sinks that are open to the rest of the room. The actual bathroom was really small. But like I said, it was nice for a football game.
