Diner Show-Worst Experience Ever

Radisson Northeast Phila Dinner Show. Worst experience ever. The line for the food started in the main room, and went across hall into another room. Another line formed in the hallway to the food room. Problem was one small door in and out. People trying to carry all of their food (so they wouldn’t have to wait in line again) had to fight their way through the should-to-shoulder mass of people coming into food room. You had to carry your food, salad, desert and drink through this crowd. They couldn’t keep up with the food and at one point people were told there would be a 20 minute wait for the chicken (only entrée). The show, Kenny Vance & Planotones, would have been good, but the show started late and in the dark (no lights on the performers). And it didn’t get much better. One gentleman at our table went to complaint to banquet manager, but they apparently didn’t see any problem. I guess this is there normally way of running things.

Great Stay.

I spent 2 nights at this Radisson. Directions to this hotel from Philadelphia International were good. The only problem I had was trying to get across Hwy 1 to enter the parking lot. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The staff was friendly. The breakfast buffet was good. I had room service one night and the food I ordered was delivered warm and delicious and within 30 minutes. Plenty of parking all around the hotel. I will plan to stay here on my next trip to Philly.

We will never go back to any Radisson

The fact that the Radisson chain does not have a continental breakfast is unacceptable today. Other hotels have fresh fruit all day, free juice and coffee in the lobby plus some have free dessert at 7 p.m. for their guests. Toilet paper very very poor quality, smoke detector went off when the window was opened. The whole hotel was evacuated because someone played with the fire alarm system at 1 a.m. The bed was hard. The room had no refrigerator in it or microwave. they were available if needed. Toilets had a poor flush system. To rate this hotel as a 5 star is only by name. As for service it is lower than a 3 star and certainly lower value than any hotel we have seen across other countries. Pool great. front desk people friendly but the whole hotel lacked quality extras.

Great Hotel

Went to Sesame Place for our end of the summer vacation and we selected this hotel to stay in. It was a very clean, well staffed and service hotel. The room was nice and clean and did not have that stale odor in it. There was a very nice packet of goodies that was in the room. The only complaint was the shower curtain was stained with mold and it need to be cleaned or changed, and the tub had drained very slow so while taking a shower it was like standing in a tub of water. All in all EVERYTHING else was great. The indoor pool was clean and the water was great as well as having a good stock of pool towels. I will stay here again provinding the price remains very reasonable and the facilites continue to clean and friendly.

Convenient lodging in northeast Philadelphia

The Radisson is just off Interstate I-276 on U.S. Route 1. Although only a short distance from the exit, the entrance to the hotel is not well marked or lighted and the entranceway is confusing. The desk personnel were friendly and prompt. Parking is ample, free and well-lighted. Only smoking rooms were available when we made our reservation, but the rooms was free of the lingering odor of tobacco that often makes smoling rooms unpleasant. The breakfast buffet is reasonably priced and provides and adequate but not elegant selection. Overall, it was a good value for the price, and conveniently located once we master the entrance and exit to the property.
