Valley Forge Suites are not sweet!

Our experience at this hotel went beyond poor into downright horrible. The first night, we had to "interrupt" the chatting staff around the front desk in order to check in. Our bedroom window leaked profusely in all the rain from Ernesto, and when we complained about the water all over the carpet and the padding, as well as the noxious mildew odor, nothing was ever done through our entire stay to either repair the leak or move us into another room. There were ants in the breakfast buffet. We had to call down twice to the front desk to get toilet paper, something that our housekeeping person apparently forgot, and then when it still wasn't brought to us we had to go down to the front desk and request it again. When the elevator went out of service, the front desk staff were very rude to those of us who were informing them. The front desk staff as well as management were just overall impolite, nonresponsive to requests, and uncaring about complaints. I would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemies, let alone to any of my frineds. My advice is to stay far away from this hotel!
